This Rosé is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Grigio, 8% Gamay Noir with just a splash of Syrah and Pinot Meunier. This wine is smooth and refreshing with notes of peach, wild strawberry, pink grapefruit, and a touch of spring flowers. WINEMAKER’S NOTEBOOK We’ve been scouting the vineyards weekly and reporting back with anything that needs to be taken care of. This can include leaf removal, shoot removal, bunch thinning or general tidying with shoot positioning. Scouting is an important aspect of vineyard maintenance which results in a lot of preemptive treatments to ensure our vines are healthy and the fruit they yield will be top notch. We also take the time to think about the upcoming harvest and how we’ll approach this vintage based on how the season is developing. The vineyards are a great spot to gather inspiration!

Winemaker’s notes: Harvested from the vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula, the Baco Noir grapes went through traditional red wine making, subtle oak integration (French, Hungarian and American) and a full malolactic fermentation to create a fruit-forward, easy-drinking wine. Flavour profile: Vibrant and youthful bright purple in colour, the bouquet expresses notes of spiced blue plum, blueberry preserves and smoke. Fruity fl avours of ripe dark fruits, black currant, blackberry and sweet spice notes linger on the juicy smooth finish. Best served: Serve at a cool room temperature of 15 to 17°C. Drink while young and fresh alongside a wide variety of dishes such as pulled pork on a bun; saucy ribs; gourmet burgers; Mexican mole sauce on chicken or lightly spiced chili.

Winemaker’s notes: Harvested from vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula, these Riesling grapes were chosen for their varietal character and pure fruit fl avours. A gentle pressing and a cool fermentation preserved the bright and expressive aromatics. The fermentation is stopped at a point of balance to produce a wine with refreshing acidity and a juicy finish. Flavour profile: Clear and bright with a fresh aroma of peach, tangerine, yellow apple and summer fl owers. Wonderful fl avours of juicy citrus and stone fruits dance on the palate. Tangerine, peach and tropical fruit notes linger on the finish. A perfect balance of sweetness and refreshing acidity.
