Lack Of Intelligence – Classic Excuses .

Lack of intelligence? Have you ever noticed how people who have never achieved much in life always have an excuse for every failure.I guess everyone has had a moderate dose of excusitis at one time or another and the thing is that if untreated it gets far worse. The guy who is repeating his first year another five times has a bucket full of reasons to explain why this is. He figures, I’m not shaping too well here. What can I use as an excuse so that I don’t look so bad. As soon as this person has turned himself into a victim of hie own excuse he holds to it in order to convince everyone that it’s not really his own fault. He even begins to believe the excuse and has become a chronic case. There are a number of strains of this problem the most critical being lack of intelligence. A high percentage of men and women site lack of intelligence as the cause of failure. This is normally suffered in silence because they don’t like to admit openly to a lack of intelligence.

Here are a few reasons for this lack of intelligence dilemma. We think everyone is smarter than they really are. We undervalue our own brainpower and sell ourselves short. The basis of our belief that we’re not smart is usually past experiences in school or the result of continuous criticisms of abusive parents or authority figures. It goes like this ” You nincompoop !!! can’t you get anything right?” An important study of antisocial personalities reveals that they possess characteristics and mental attitudes which are highly detrimental to everybody about them. with bad news, hostile remarks, invalidation, and suppression. These men and women are surrounded by insecure ill associates and family members, who’re behaving in a crippled manner in life, faltering and not succeeding. Living or working in close proximity to a seriously psychotic person places one in genuine danger. If this is happening to you then make it clear that the continuous criticisms and public invalidation are irrational and unfair and need to stop. Bear in mind that what motivates psychotic behavior is fear of someone else succeeding. As a last resort you may have to separate yourself from this individual. Ever wondered why some brilliant folks are failures? You often find people with IQs as high as 135 that have zero confidence are in mediocre jobs smoking 40 cigarettes a day and drinking themselves to death. These individuals often spend more time proving why things don’t function than finding ways to succeed. One day Albert Einstein was asked just how many feet you can find in a mile. Einstein’s reply was, “I don’t know.” “Why must I fill my brain with facts I am able to discover in two minutes in any reference book.” He felt that it was much more important to utilize his mind to think than to store facts. An idea man has the ability to turn his aspirations into reality. Someone obsessed with facts cannot.

Here are three quick ideas to treat lack of intelligence excusitis. At the beginning of every day remind yourself that attitude is a lot more important than intelligence. Creative thinking is far more important than the capacity to recall facts. Never sell yourself short. A positive very positive individual employing all his strengths with an IQ of 100 will earn a lot more cash, win significantly more respect and accomplish a lot more great results compared to a negative, pessimistic, person that fails to use of his natural talents with an IQ of 120 plus.
