There is nothing worse for a child than experiencing violence, exploitation or neglect. In 2017, World Vision in the Philippines launched its global campaign to end sexual exploitation against children. World Vision is committed to stand and speak out to protect children from harm, grieving with the abused and seeking restoration.

CAMPAIGN GOAL 3 Million Children are protected from sexual exploitation by 2020.

STATISTICS Philippines ranks 10th worldwide on prevalence of sexual exploitation among children aged 10-14

Caregroups demonstrate behaviours that provide a caring and protective environment for all girls and boys, especially the Most Vulnerable Children (MVC).

2 Increase accountability and good governance for child protection. 3 Multi-Sectoral response implement measures to prevent and address sexual exploitation of children.

SUPPORTING ONLINE SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN (OSEC) PREVENTION TRAINING Skills training for caregivers such as parents and teachers on OSEC prevention Skills training for children on OSEC and other sexual abuse prevention such as the Online Hotlines, “Safe Touch” among others

SUPPORTING RESCUE OPERATIONS AND AFTER CARE PROGRAM Provision of After Care Kits that consists of clothes, hygiene kits and toys for children Supporting operation of Shelters that can provide short term or long term safe environment for survivors Training of our frontlines on Trauma-informed case handling Provision of sustained free legal assistance to the survivors

SUPPORTING REINTEGRATION PROGRAM Provision of skill training for employment or business of either the survivor or their family Provision of employment or business capital for the survivors or their family

SUPPORTING SURVIVORS TO BE ADVOCATES Supporting a group of survivors conduct awareness raising activities through theatre and arts
