1. Features & Benefits Decorative type fan coil units combine design flexibility with easy and low-cost installation. This model is exposed at the room like a stand type air conditioner. According to the load of requesting at the room, you can select from 300CFM to 1,400CFM capacities and you can also select types of Decorative model to the installation place such as the wall and ceiling. The units are ideal for installation in hotels, schools, public institutions that require individual control system.

LG decorative type fan coil unit provide for various benefits. 1. Quiet & Dependable performance. Decorative type fan coil unit delivers quiet and dependable air conditioning in a various range of capacities. You can select Air flow as 3 steps and It is also possible to control the room temperature automatically.

2. Splendid appearance & Compact size Decorative type fan coil unit express modern style look according to emphasize a design of curvaceousness. This unit also design compact size to reduce installation space.

3. Low cost installation. Each unit is designed to occupy a minimum space. This feature, along with convenient siring and piping connections, means reduces cost on renovations or new construction sites.

4. Efficient operation Electronically balanced centrifugal fan is connecting a direct driven with motor. It is possible to control fan°Ă˜s on/off according to the room temperature (If you select the remote controller as a option). This is very efficient to operate the unit and also give the customers the optimum temperature.

5. Quality reduces service and maintenance expenses Motor/blower assembly can be easily removed from the unit for ease of service. Removing this assembly provides clear access to the entering air face of the coil, making coil cleaning a relatively simple matter. Removable panels make access to components and connections easy.

6. Component Features

General Furnish and install Fan Coil Units as indicated and scheduled in the plans. Units shall be factory assembled with coils that are pressure tested individually to 200 psi (1.6 MPa). The fans must be factory run and manufacturer must have a facility to test the capacity of cooling coils at specified entering air conditions and specified chilled water temperature, to assure correct capacity. In addition the test facility shall be suitable to test air capacity at specified external pressure drop at indicated speed setting.

Basic Unit The basic unit shall be fabricated out of 1mm galvanized steel GB/T 2518-2004 or above. The fan deck and the top of the coil section shall be lined with 5mm PE insulation. The fan motor shall be easily removable for serviceability. A terminal box with terminal strip shall be provided for terminating the wiring. On ceiling concealed units with plenum, the filter shall be easily removable from either side or the back. Standard filter shall be 10 mm nylon media and an optional filter with 10mm aluminium media shall also be available. Air Grill shall be made Plastic modular. Units with powder coating finish shall be available as an option.

1. Features & Benefits Coils Coils shall be made out of 3/8 inch or 9.52mm OD copper tubes. Aluminium fins shall be 0.105mm thick and the coil shall have maximum spacing of 2.4mm between the fins. The coil shall be pressure tested to 1.6 MPa (For a working pressure of 1600 kpa) and dehydrated before assembly. A manual air vent shall be provided on top of the coil. The coil assembly shall be protected on the side on which piping is to be fitted with a cover made of GI sheet. The metal sheet below the coil shall be powder coated to avoid corrosion.

Motors Motors shall be 3 speed, permanent split capacitor type with Thermal overload protection. Motors shall have permanently lubricated ball bearings. The motors shall have a class B insulation. Standard motor shall be IP20 is totally available on request. Motors shall be protected by an internal overload that is UL Certified component.

Fans Fans shall be centrifugal direct-drive, forward curved type. Fan wheel shall be statically and dynamically balanced.

Terminal Box All units shall be provided with factory installed terminal box with the fan motor wired to the box.

Drain Pan Drain Pan shall be weld steel, sloped to the piping connection, which will be threaded for easy connection. Internal surface shall be painted with anti-corrosive paint. The drain pan shall be insulated from below with PE insulation

Testing Manufacturer shall have a test facility to verify the air flow rate at specified external static pressure on all three speeds. It shall also be possible to verify the cooling capacity with water flow rates and temperature shown in the product guide. Verification of Airflow and Capacities shall be an option available at a declared cost. The manufacturing process should have a certified ISO 9,000 quality plan.

Internal Thermal All motors are equipped with internal Thermal overloads. Overload Motor Bearings

The motors have permanently lubricated ball bearings as a standard offering.

Insulation

The motors are provided with class B insulation.

Degree of Protection

The degree of protection is specified in accordance with DIN 40050 with publication of the IEC by means of the letter IP (Internal Protection) and a two characteristic numerals as stated in the standard. For all the motors, IP20 protection is provided as standard.

10. Installation Preparation

WARNING • Load bearing of the installation place should be sufficient, in case of falling of air conditioner. • Guard against gale, earthquake. Installation should be carried out as stated in case of accident.

1) Receiving goods and testing When units are delivered to ordered site, user should open the box to inspect them and receive them. - Inspecting if the specification is ready - Checking unit type, specification and accessories - Checking if unit is damaged and parts are all ready If it is damaged or you have any doubts, please contact with distributor ASAP, to solve the problems.

2) Moving When moving the units with forkman or others, anti-vibration measures should be adopted in case of collision. The unit should keep horizontal, angle of incline can’t be more than 30°.

3) Store of the units Location : far from light, rain, sand, stone and wind Temperature : max. 60°, min. -10° Humidity : max. 90%

Installation of units When the site of installation is located, please do as follows 1) Dig a hole through the wall, which should be inclined outward and downward, and the incline angle should be more than 1%. Then thread inlet/outlet water connecting pipe and wire connecting pipe through a nativepurchased PVC through-wall pipe. 2) Make sure that no pipeline or steel bar is in the way of digging. 3) The cover of exposed units should be removed on installation. And pay attention not to damage the cover. 4) To suspended units the units should be hung on a firm and horizontal rooftop. If its base is infirm, there will be noise, vibration and leakage. To floor units£¨the units should be fixed on plastic feet and then connected to side wall. If its base is infirm, there will be noise, vibration and leakage. 5) Please use suspended screw of M8 or M10 (4 pcs, provide by yourself) (using M10 when the height of suspended screw is more than 0.9m). And compute interval according to dimension of installation hole. 6) Units and inlet/outlet pipe should be connected with flexible metal tubes to absorb vibration. 7) Inlet and outlet of the units should be installed with filter, avoiding blocking the cooper tubes on heat exchanger. 8) Condensed water pipe should be inclined for discharging of condensed water. 9) Heat preservation should be done to inlet/outlet pipe and condensed water pipe. The wall of pipe should be not less than 15mm in thickness.

10. Installation 10) Electric connection should be accurate, safe and well-grounding.

Instruction of 2-pipe thermostat 1) Thermostat should be installed on the wall that can reflect temperature indoor or inside area, with the height of about 1.4 meters above the ground. Direct sunshine and heat-generation appliances should be avoided. 2) The thermostat consists of three parts, bottom shell and small box. Separate it with a small screwdriver by prizing lightly the clip on the top of the thermostat. Refer to the wiring diagram first and connect the ends of the box steadily with wire. After assembling with the bottom shell, lead the tier wire out through the square hole and fix with M4 screws onto the standard box on the wall. 3. Connect the plug of tier wire with the socket of the face shell and after checking, button up the lower side of the face shell and then the upper side until a “ka� sound is heard, which means installation finished.
