01. Development Proposal for Central Area Study of Johor Bahru Site Background Study area is located in Central District, Johor Bahru. The city of Johor Bahru can be categorized as centralized city that provides goods and services to local and international residents from Singapore.
Planning Area
The Development Proposal of Central Area Planning in Johor Bahru City is divided into several stages, and each stage needs to be carried out to formulate a detailed, systematic and organized layout plan. Each stage is carried out by each team member to ensure that the plan fits the proposed development report.

Urban Village This planning area creates an ecological space environment that combines urban heritage and aesthetic values. The urban farming project will be proposed to stimulate the economic growth of Johor Bahru for the local people. In this project will display a new attraction area which is "Rumah Limas Johor" to bring back the cultural and heritage value in Johor Bahru city and also become one of the new tourist attractions area.
Issues
Strategy 1. Re-Development The abandoned space will be re-developed into a new attraction in Johor Bahru City, where the Rumah Limas of Johor will be displayed.
Abandoned space Bring negative value due to vandalism and uncontrolled appropriation by people. 2. New Development The area will be developed into urban farming to support a healthy, self-sufficient city in Johor Bahru. This kind of urban farming also provides a safer and healthier alternative to the commercial food supply chain for the Johor community, while stimulating the local economy. Lack of green open space There is no existing open space for community leisure activities. 5
Cultural Heritage Park
(Re-Development) This area will propose a new attraction place at Johor Bahru City where it would be displayed of Rumah Limas Johor. Rumah Limas Johor will be located along this area. The Rumah Limas Johor is one of the famous heritage of Johor State that needs to be introduced to the people and all visitors of Johor Bahru city.
What are the benefits?
Promotes preservation of local traditions, and culture.
Helps improve the community’s image and pride.
Provides research and education opportunities for students.
Creates enjoyable opportunities for both local residents and visitors.

This area will also will create a new attraction place as it will be applied of beautiful green landscape and convenient place for local people and also tourist to visit this Cultural Heritage Park. This Cultural Heritage Park will encourage people to know more and gain new information regarding Johor State.

Community Urban Eco Farming
(New Development)
Community Urban Eco Farming is a new model of park for the urban municipality. Elements of the Urban Farming include community gardens, kitchen garden, event lawn, crop production area and rental facilities. Focuses on the detailed development and management of the farm, while providing a vision for the future and illustrating the long-range potential of the site.
What are the benefits? Expose the public to partake in a sustainable lifestyle and love for a healthy environment.
Provides restful spaces for the community, and boosts physical and mental health.
Flexible source of income for gardeners and cut family food costs.
Providing places for neighbors to come together, strengthen bonds, and build community cohesion. 8
Urban farming introduces more greenery into the built environment, and potentially enhances community surrounding food supply resilience. It also become touchpoints for local community to learn about sustainable techniques.

02. Child-Friendly Neighborhood Based on statistics, the majority of the world’s urban population will be children. From that, we should consider children’s perspectives when planning areas. This project is one of the approaches to present the children’s needs in the neighborhood.
Factors influencing the concept of child-friendly neighborhoods
Social factors is one of the biggest concern in this Child-Friendly Neighborhood implementation. From that, planners will cope this factors with lots of great ways. 10
Site Background This child-friendly neighborhood project is located in Nilai Impian, Negeri Sembilan which sits within the boundary between Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. It also located next to North-South Expressway and consists 270 acres in total area. 11

03. Land Suitability for Developing Medium Industrial Area
This study highlighted the specific focus on enhancing future land suitability for industrial development by deploying the Geographic Information System (GIS) in a specialized area that is in the area of Selayang municipal.
Objectives
Scope of Study
• To identify the main requirement for industrial development in Selayang.
The scope of the study is to analyse the land suitability for medium industry. Medium-sized industry are defined differently around the world. The sizing or categorization of a company as medium industry, depending on the country, can be based on several characteristics.
• To propose the study as the guide for a better future development in Selayang. • To study the land suitability for industrial development at the existing zoning land use with desired conditions defined by the selection criteria.

Based on the analysis that shown in these maps, the land use availability that are suitable for industrial area are influenced by a few criteria that include road, railway, distance from river, existing residential and urban areas that may be the main factor of pointing the most suitable area for medium industrial area.

This analysis has clearly shown that spatial and attribute data sets from economic, social, and environment criteria are analyse and able to identified the suitability for medium industrial area development. In these study, it includes proximity to road, distance from railway, distance from river, proximity to existing residential and proximity to urban areas. In this analysis, 47% from the total area are suitable for medium industrial area development.

This report describes about the housing market trends in Philippines based on several factors. It also includes government intervention and policies and factors.
This report compiles and celebrate the work of urban design projects in Malaysia. I was given a chance by the faculty my article titled "Vibrant Ville, Nilai" with the theme of child-friendly neighborhood.
