Product description The Stream sprayers are portable, electrically operated sprayers for the targeted spraying of Sanosil disinfectant and/or products for odour control. It is an aid for instructed, professional users and the targeted spraying with a device, not an application for airborne room disinfection by automated procedure according to EN 17272 (also called aerosol disinfection). Stream sprayers are suitable for the surface disinfection of larger surfaces that are difficult to treat by wiping, e.g. mouldy roof structures, treatment of masonry during water damage restoration, disinfection of pipes and ventilation systems, etc. Depending on the version, the Stream Compact devices are equipped with either a cable or battery (Li-Ion).

Functionality The Stream sprayers consist of the housing, an active ingredient tank, a blower, the flexible hose with interchangeable nozzles and a carrying strap. The blower consists of a single-stage axial turbine compressor driven by a motor. This generates a powerful air flow which atomizes the Sanosil disinfectant via the spray nozzle on the flexible hose and sprays it onto the surface. By using different nozzles, the amount of disinfectant and thus the droplet size can be regulated between <40-60 microns. The droplet size is always dependent on the flow rate and viscosity of the agent used. After leaving the nozzle, the air flow carries the droplets with it, thus droplet throwing distances of up to 7 meters can be achieved.

Safety regulations WARNING READ THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THEM. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN FIRE, EXPLOSION, ELECTRIC SHOCK AND/OR SERIOUS INJURY. Basic information: Stream sprayers may only be operated by specialists with appropriate protective equipment to protect the respiratory tract from aerosols that are inevitably always formed during spray disinfection. 1. Only spray original Sanosil disinfectant with the Stream device. 2. If highly concentrated Sanosil products (Sanosil S015, Sanosil Super 25) are used, they must be diluted before filling into the sprayer. The hydrogen peroxide content of the Sanosil products must not exceed 7.5%. 3. Always wear safety goggles, skin protection and a suitable breathing mask with aerosol/and gas filter ABEK P3) suitable for hydrogen peroxide when working with the Stream. 4. Treated rooms can usually be used again after 1-2 hours once the surface has dried. Do not enter the rooms if the smell of disinfectant is noticeable. 5. Operation with other products can lead to fire and explosion hazards. Under no circumstances may flammable substances be atomised. 6. The Stream sprayer works with electric current in the normal household voltage range. In case of direct contact, this current strength can be life-threatening under certain circumstances. When using the Stream sprayer, please observe the usual safety regulations that must be observed when handling electricity. 7. Do not spray on live objects. 8. Keep Stream sprayer dry, do not use in wet rooms. 9. If there is any suspicion of damage, shut down the device immediately and have it checked by a specialist. This applies to all cases: Liquid leaks from hoses, connections, or housing. If the unit or cable suddenly becomes noticeably hot during operation, a burning smell is noticeable, or smoke is rising 10. Have damaged cables or connectors replaced immediately. 11. Do not carry out repairs to the electrical parts of this special device yourself, but have the device repaired only by specialists. 12. Only use original spare parts. 13. The unit must be empty and depressurized for all maintenance work. 14. Extension cables and cable reels must always be completely rolled out and stretched out. Do not allow plugs and cables to get wet. Make sure that the chemicals used do not come into contact with the cables. Only use cables that match the voltage of the sprayer. Do not insert any objects into the unit. 15. The Stream sprayer is not intended for storing liquids, empty it daily after each use and rinse it with tap water.

Application / Commissioning Prepare • Closing windows and doors • Connect the sprayer to the power circuit using a power cable (Stream C). Alternatively Stream B (battery): Fully charge the battery using the charging cable. Filling • Open the fuel filler cap on the upper side of the housing by turning it counterclockwise. • Fill the tank with Sanosil disinfectant through the opening. Attention: Only use Sanosil disinfectant! • Close the fuel filler cap by turning it clockwise. Regulate • Insert the appropriate nozzle for flow regulation at the socket • The finer the droplets impinge on a surface, the better and more complete is the wettability. Commissioning • Put on mask to protect eyes and respiratory tract. Ensure that no persons without protective equipment come into the effective range of the disinfection spray cone. • Turn the switch at the top of the blower head to ON “1”. Stream B (battery): Additionally switch the main switch to ON "1". • Use the carrying strap to hang the device. Application: • If you move with the machine, start spraying systematically in the back of the room and then slowly move towards the exit. • Spray the surfaces to be disinfected using the flexible hose. It is essential to avoid puddles, dripping and running or, in an emergency, wipe briefly with a cloth or similar. (Some Sanosil disinfectants may leave discoloration on the surface after the drops have dried up.) • Switch off the unit: Before switching off the unit, open the tank cap slightly and allow the excess pressure to escape (prevents undesired dripping from nozzle tip). • Close the door to the treated room, allow disinfectant to take effect. Exposure time • Treated rooms can be re used after drying of the surface, usually at the latest after 1-2 hours. • Do not enter the room without protection mask as long odour of disinfectant is detectable

Decommissioning / Maintenance Decommissioning 1. Empty the disinfectant remaining in the tank by carefully tilting the device over the tank lid. 2. Switch the blower to OFF "0" at the switch at the top of the blower head. Stream B (battery): In addition, switch the main switch to OFF "0". For charging: switch it back to ON "1" for the charging process Emptying 3. Nebulize the remaining disinfectant until no more visible mist is produced. Rinse 4. Rinse the device thoroughly with tap water and empty it again. Device control 5. Check the air filter in front of the blower and wash/dry it as necessary to remove dust. 6. Check the device for any damage after each use and repair any damage. Maintenance 7. Check the active ingredient lines for leaks. Important: Empty the tank after each use. Rinse the device with water after each use.

Stream B: Battery Charging • The Stream B (battery) has 2 different toggle switches: the on/off switch on top of the housing, and the main switch next to the socket for the charging cable. The main switch prevents rapid discharge of the battery during storage

On-Off Switch

Main Power Switch (below on rear of device)

• On-Off switch to OFF “0” • Plug in the charger cable. (Control light turns to green) • Connect the charger to the stream and set the main switch next to the charging bus to ON "1" (indicator light changes to red) and the device will charge. When charging is complete, the control lamp changes to green. The unit can now be disconnected from the charging cable.

Important: The main switch protects the battery from being discharged too quickly during the storage period and for security reasons by shipping. Always switch off the unit with the main switch for storage and / or shipping. Avoid total discharge of the battery. Recharge the device after a while, even if it has not been used. Sanosil Inc.
