About 70%of our planet is covered by water. Water is the only substance that occurs naturally at room temperature, while in the three states of aggregation: solid, liquid and gas.
In solid form, water is of ice, snow, hail, frost. In the solid state the particles are very close to each other, are not free to move and are arranged in perfect geometric order.
The liquid water is in the form of rain and dew, but mainly as rivers, seas and oceans, which cover about 70%of the Earth's surface. In the liquid particles can move, but within limits: if a particle moves his place was immediately taken by another.
In atmosphere, water is in the form of mist, water vapor and clouds. In the gaseous state the particles can move freely, because there are no chemical bonds between them.
