The Victim

The sky turned from blue to black From black to white And then again blue When I was with You These days no soul seems to care A Nuclear War Presidents have a scar Where to start? The ones who is awake can not more do than cry To the ones who would not care i said goodbye What more can I do then only watch and cry My Dear? When the war happens in front of us Flashes of black Flashes of white Will there be a President that will unite

The war victims have seen shadows Of people dead, but still walking Words, people kept talking But there was no one to see Flashes of black Flashes of white And again, what kind of President can Unite? When I touch the flower To hope for new growth And beg clear rain showers on Us No more acid rain No more green radioactive stains When I touched the flower When I touched, the flower I was thinking about You But where are You? When I am looking for You During War I seem to look for a Love Where is my Love? Someone who is present In the Present Time Someone who has nothing to hide Makes me more shy When I sometimes see You Passing by And greet Me Only You see Me How can that be? And then, again Flashes of black Flashes of white And I cry

Could this be our last time? Can I give You more of my time? Can I? May I? Because The sky turned from blue to black From black to white And then again blue When I was with You

To my family and Paul, Jan-Willem and William, Arnoud With love And the ambulances and police We all survived a nuclear war attacks Nadiya Amina Aweis Mohamed Mohado Sheikh Nur 30-11-1995 30-12-2022
