This is an opportunity to hear about The Wallace Foundation Initiative: Building a Better Pipeline to support future and new leaders. One district will share their experiences, successes, and district growth through intentional organizational change. Participants will reflect on the growth through a well-planned system of support for their new and aspiring leaders.

Participants will discuss the role of the principal in the areas of teacher and principal evaluation, equity and accountability, and balancing testing with developmentally appropriate practice.
PRE-K LUNCH AND LEARN Learn more about issues of gender and race equality as well as equity in Pre-K-3. The luncheon will include facilitated table talks.
Whether conducting teacher evaluations or improving the culture of schools, whether in urban settings or rural schools, principals are accountable for reaching the highest potential of every teacher and student. Participants will hear from effective principals and also share how they have employed these practices described in the Wallace Foundation report, The School Principal as Leader, through rural, urban, and suburban break-out groups.
New to the principalship? This is a can’t-miss session which will discuss the demanding yet rewarding life of a principal. Topics of discussion with your peers include: staff management, parent communication, technology, school culture, and time management.
