Meaning of CROMA
Creative thinking Responsible behavior Obedient faith
Dr. Hyo Je Chung
Moral integrity
CCIS has been established with a vision to train and produce men and women of
Academic excellence
is not primarily in gaining good grades and go to top university, although this is cer-
God who will lead with sound biblical mind-set. What makes CCIS different from other schools? The purpose of education at CCIS tainly one of our objectives. The major objective of our education is much more long-term based. We train students to ask questions. Questions will lead to more questions and therefore more in-depth learning. Many Korean students are brilliant technicians but few are creative inquirers. We believe that our future will be led by people who ask creative questions. To ask questions, one requires curiosity, confidence and courage. I would like to encourage all graduates of CCIS who are going to High School to keep asking and never give up until the Truth reveals itself! May God be with you and bless your future in abundance. Dr. Joeseph Duyol Choi
Mrs. Jamie Cha As the school year comes to a close, I cannot help but to marvel at what God has done among us. It’s been a great start! I would like to thank the staff here at CCIS for their dedication and support. Together we’ve learned much and shared experiences that will long remain with us in the years to come. Thank you to all the children who have made coming to school each morning, a real joy for all of us who work here. I hope the summer is a time of rejuvenation and relaxation for everyone. I look forward to the 2014-2015 school year with great anticipation and hope for another outstanding year of Christian education. Blessings, Jamie Cha Kindergarten & Elementary Principal
What is really important? That’s a big question and the answers we give can change as we grow and our perception of life changes. It is really important that we keep perspective and remember the things that really make life worthwhile. So what would I wish for our students and graduates? Getting good grades? Yes, It is important, but it is not what really matters. Love your God, love your family and those around you and love yourself enough to become the wonderful person God created – all the rest will follow! Congratulations and thanks for all your hard work and support! Dr. Joeseph Duyol Choi Middle & High School Principal

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADE 5 Homeroom Ms. Liezel Kohler The school year has been interesting and fun, first having Jiyu here, and watching her growing a year old and learn how to learn better. It’s been really nice to see as Christian join us, watching the two kids interacting with each other has

I have had at least 12 students to 30 students. It’s been a nice year of pace.

to be the only one in his class, I believe it helped conversations to flow easily since he was the only one who could answer my questions! Throughout the school year we were able to broaden our conversation as Jiwon gradually excelled in English. I am excited to hear of Jiwon’s future at CCIS and I know he will be well equipped in the years to come because of his faith, education and work ethic.

GRADE 7 Homeroom Dr. Sungho Choi First of all, congratulations on the completion of middle school and elementary school! I am so proud of the students of CCIS as they have been true examples of diligence and faithfulness. I have no doubt that the future is bright for all the students and especially for middle schoolers going into High School. You will face more challenges but that is a sign that you are growing and becoming what God intended you to be. Although we are few in numbers at present, I think CCIS students have shown that it is quality that matters, not quantity! I trust that even as we grow in numbers, the first graduates of CCIS will be the standard for all those who will join CCIS in future. “Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be (Job:8:7). May this word be the promise of God upon which your future unfold. Well done everyone. I am so very proud of you!
