DIMAPUR: Chief Medical Officer Dimapur, Dr. I. Moatemjen, inaugurated Tenyiphe-III AYUSH Health & Wellness Center newly built extended rooms on February 28. The inaugural function commenced with the ribbon cutting ceremony. In a press statement, District Media Officer, Kinmie stated that the newly extended rooms will be utilized as MO (AYUSH) cum OPD room and Yoga Hall. Dr. Moatemjen in his inaugural speech stated that Tenyiphe-III sub-center was upgraded to AYUSH Health & Wellness Center and a new Medical Officer (MO) AYUSH was assigned to reduce the burden of health through holistic approach by promoting health awareness, promote preventive measures, promote healthy lifestyle, yoga and meditation, telemedicine, and to provide easy and affordable access to health care to the public.

He further urged the community to take ownership of the health center and to continue their supports and contributions towards the development of the health center.

The inaugural function was chaired by Dr. Alivi V. Chishi, MO (AYUSH).She also extended her appreciation towards the community leaders for the tireless support and contributions towards the improvement of the health center.
