Killed After Bus Hits Motorcycle
KHARGONE, FEB 10 (PTI): Four labourers were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding bus near Sanavad in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district on Friday, an official said. The bus was trying to overtake the motorcycle when the accident happened, the official said.
Mentally unwell teen raped, impregnated

A mentally unwell teen girl was raped in a facility for the speciallyabled in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, the crime coming to light after she got pregnant, police said on Friday. A rape case was filed late Thursday night on the complaint of the mother of the 17-year-old victim and efforts were on to nab the unidentified accused, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sampat Upadhyay told PTI.
Nadda to address twin rallies in WB on Sunday

(IANS): With an eye on the upcoming panchayat elections in West Bengal scheduled this year and the Lok Sabha polls in 2024, BJP President J.P. Nadda will visit the state and and address two public rallies on Sunday (February 12). State BJP sources said that Nadda will arrive in Kolkata on Saturday evening and hold a meeting with the top party leaders from West Bengal.
Army to promote 108 women officers
NEW DELHI, FEB 10
(PTI): The Army is in the process of posting 108 women officers in the rank of Colonel following a selection process, the government said in the Lok Sabha on Friday. The women officers, currently serving in the rank of Lt Colonel, were shortlisted for the promotion by a special selection board.
Both the Opposition and Treasury benches indulged in sloganeering during the Opposition MPs’ address in the House. Slogans such as “ModiModi” and “We want JPC” were raised. Dhankhar, who disapproved of the commotion, lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, saying his behaviour was “under the scanner”.

Congress, reached the Well of the House, and raised slogans when their demands were not met.
The Vice President also appealed to the MPs to return to their seats, while calling out several Congress parliamentarians, including K.C. Venugopal, Randeep Surjewala, Deepender Hooda, among others.
Naming the MPs, Dhankhar wanted them to be kept out of the proceedings of the House. However, the Congress MPs eventually went back to their respective seats following the V-P’s appeal.
The Congress MPs who sought inclusion of excerpts of its national party president Mallikarjun Kharge’s speech in the proceedings walked out of the Upper House when their demand was not accepted.

Will keep raising Adani issue inside and outside Parliament, it’s a ‘big scam’: Kharge Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said the party will keep raising the Adani issue both inside and outside Parliament and added if the government is not ready to work democratically, “people will get rid of it”.
