Implementation of UDISE+, various programmes organised for teachers and students STATE

DIMAPUR: Various programmes were organised for the teachers and students as part of the yearly academic curriculum and extracurricular activities.

DMA SS Kohima: A sensitisation programme for school heads/principals on implementation of real time Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) online 20222023 and students’ profile was organised by District Mission Authority (DMA) Samagra Shiksha (SS) Kohima on January 23 at Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) Hall, Tseminyu.

A press release by the department informed that while delivering a keynote address, assistant district coordinator DMA SS Kohima, Thonsenglo Kath stated that UDISE+ was a system of online realtime data collection from schools and to overcome the limitations related to the erstwhile practice of manual data filling in paper format.

He said in the UDISE+ system, improvements have been made particularly in the areas of data capture, data mapping and data verification.

He informed that the system collects informa - tion from all recognised and unrecognised schools imparting formal education from pre-primary to Class XII.

Kath said UDISE+ also collects information through an online Data Collection Form (DCF) on parameters such as school infrastructure, level of dropouts, enrolments, examination results etc. spread across 11 sections and that the information collected helps the central and state governments to plan, optimise resource allocation and implement various education-related programs and assessments of progress made.

SS Kohima, Aseno briefed the trainees on DCF, UDISE plus online and students’ profile.

The programme was presided by coordinator EBRC Tseminyu, Rushulo Khing; TOTs, Francis Magh and Hinilo Cheng recorded and delivered the word of gratitude respectively. Altogether 46 government schools and eight private schools attended the sensitisation programme.

DMA SS DIMAPUR: District level UDISE + training and students profile was held on Wednesday at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Dimapur was organized by District

Mission Authority Samagra Shiksha (DMA SS).

At the programme, short speech was delivered by District Education Officer (charge) Dimapur and GHSS senior principal A Mughali Sema. She highlighted on the common mistakes committed during filing the forms. In this, she encouraged the HoDs of the schools to be careful and be focused as it will reflect the image of the schools performances.
