The colour variation of the rich, dark brown rattan is produced by a three day process of smoking, a traditional method of curing and preserving natural fibers.Diligently hand-woven by craftspeople in Bali, the flexibility of this durable material evolves to become pieces that wrap elegantly around the wrist. Single or multiple coils present distinctive clasps of resin encased sirsak leaf, or beaten balls in brass or copper. Delicate charms from the Tri-Datu collection, again in copper and brass, are attached into the weave for a contemporary take on the traditional charm bracelet.
