A great deal of time has been dedicated to participating in the discussion groups On-Line, that helps a lot in improving English skills and figuring out much about methods of teaching Business English. • During 4 weeks took part in the Internet for Business English Training TESOL 99 Pre-convention Online Workshop, October 26-November 20, 1998. • ON-LINE "FUTURE OF ENGLISH?" COURSE, based on David Graddol's fascinating book on "The Future of English?", commissioned by the British Council and published to great acclaim last year. • Participant of the “Business English Project in Ukraine” follow-up; participant of the “Business English Project in Ukraine II” (course content: methodology in trainer training and teacher training); • Participant of the four weeks ESP BUSINESS Workshop On-Line (USIA) run by Moya Brennen and Chip Harman. I came from the Far East (Vladivostok ) of Russia, but have been living in another side of the globe, Ukraine, all my adult life. I‘ve been teaching English for students majoring in economics at National University in Khmelnitskiy city. Since 1998 (when the Internet access became available at our university) I have been involved into many different international projects: • • • • • • • •

Since early 2006 I‘ve been involved into blogging with LwC and B4B as well as Blogging for Educators as a comoderator in 2008 andImages4Education in 2009. Though, at the University I mostly use Moodle platform for creating materials for students’ autonomous learning. However, I took a try to involve my students into blogging and, hopefully, we’ll continue exploring these tools next academic year. To learn more about blogging I’ve created one for TESOL-Ukraine and Hawaii-TESOL partnership and the other one for Webheads Greetings. Our primary blog for students also is placed in Blogger: StudentsInternationalCollaboration’. I have the only son who lives and works in Poland.
