Mývatn Öl Beer Spa
Architecture Competition (Part 1 Experience in Practice)
This beer spa based in Iceland has been designed to respond to its site and cultural context, with a scale that respects its relationship with the existing hotel and other nearby buildings.
We have taken inspiration from the adjacent Skútustaðagígar craters in driving the geometries of the courtyard elements and roof profle.
The lowest foor has been taken below ground level, both to reduce the external massing of the building and so that part of the building can beneft from the earth’s natural heating in win- ter and cooling in summer. This also provides a cosy and protected feeling when in this area, which suits the uses of a beer tasting area and enclosed drinking/ performing space.

Iconic Design
This is a small scale project where I was involved in the planning of the extension of the house. Direct Client interaction and design meetings helped me understand the complexities of the project like the joinery and build-up of the existing brickwork, the level differences and the shared party wall compliance requirements.
A detailed measured survey of the house was helpful in building the existing model of the house on Revit, which further informed the planning for the extension of the ground foor. The pack of drawings for Planning Application was then submitted on the Planning portal to gain planning permission. I considerably improved my Revit skills by working on this project from RIBA Stage 0-3.

A Sustainable Community Hub
Design Project- 4th year (MArch 1)
The Rhondda Heritage Park transformation seeks to overturn its historical perception as a coal-centric colliery, traditionally vital for fuel. The emphasis is on redefning this narrative by turning the colliery into a forward-thinking, green communal hub. This innovative approach aims to preserve the site’s rich heritage while actively engaging the community, by educating them about the modern sustainable strategies, raising awareness about other small scale sustainable practices thereby integrating sustainability at the core of this scheme.
The project envisions repurposing the colliery’s water resources for heat and various essential purposes, providing a tangible shift from its historical role as a coal producer to a contemporary supporter of sustainable practices.

Residential Project : Mayfair Avenue
Internship with Vaibhav Architects, Dehradun, India.
This project was aimed at designing a three-level house that offers a mix of private and semi- private spaces, along with a backyard or garden space for outdoor living and gatherings. The project aims to create a comfortable and modern living environment that provides ample space for the family to relax and socialize.
I utilized softwares such as SketchUp and Revit to construct a detailed model of the house. Subsequently, I employed Lumion to generate realistic renders, which were further enhanced through Photoshop to infuse them with vibrancy and vitality.
Exploded 3-Dimensional view of the house
A handrawn sketch of the hall on the second foor of the house
My task in this project was to design a residential building (as highlighted in red above), a house for a family of four, which is located at the beginning of this big 6 acre of land, while making sure that an adequate amount of sunlight, circulation and movement in and around the building is freely allowed. The whole project would offer many other bigger residential villas and amenities like green parks and communal areas for the residents.
Cultural Art Centre
Design Project- 3rd year (Bsc)
The aim of this project is to create a cultural art centre on site (54-Stokes Croft, Bristol), that can provide a physical space for its ethnic minorities to showcase and celebrate their cultural traditions and art. The goal of this centre is to serve as a catalyst for the Stokes Croftian cultural activism and a platform to raise awareness and educate other communities about the diverse heritage of UREMCAA (Under-Represented Ethnic Minority Cultural Activist Artists).
A site model, scaled at 1:500, was collaboratively created using hotwires for foam blocks, laser cutters for Mdf board and wood cutting machines for the building blocks under focus, in the physical workshop

A Collage to show the Artistic Expression on site
The impactful murals and graffti found in Stokes Croft play a crucial role in inspiring thought and activism. By utilizing Photoshop and Procreate, I curated a collage featuring the diverse range of murals discovered during my site visits, highlighting their culturally rich and activist artistic expressions.
The Collaborative physical art studio on the topmost foor of the centre serves as a hub for UREMCAA, facilitating exhibition preparation and fostering engagement among diverse ethnicities.

Rural: A Cozy Retreat (model study)
We organised live consultation events on site which helped us interact with the actual clients and users of the redesigned hut, and their input was extremely valuable to us while making design decisions or collectively building a physical site model. I could signifcantly improve my model-making skills by working on this project.

This hut is thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy retreat for the farmer, offering a peaceful and comfortable space to unwind after a day of hard work on the farm. It embraces a warm and inviting aesthetic, with earthy tones, natural textures, and rustic elements. This creates a welcoming
Embracing the farm-to-table concept, the hut incorporates a small kitchen garden and herb planters, allowing the farmer to grow fresh produce just steps away from their living space. This not only adds a touch of greenery but also reinforces a connection to the land and encourages a sustainable lifestyle.
