About the Firm:
Ar. Viral Modi established ZDS- Zenith Designer Studio in January 2020. ZDS is actively working on and has finished numerous projects in the fields of planning, architecture, and landscape architecture.
The agenda of the company is "AESTHETICS & UTILITYFOLLOWED BYPUNCTUALITY" for work on any project.They firmly think that design should prioritize pleasing clients and be adaptable enough to accommodate different design languages used by architects.
Their work has been outstanding in a variety of scales, includingTownships, Farm Houses, High-rise, Residential, and Commercial, Plotting Schemes, Party Plots, Hotels, Resorts, Industrial,Terrace Gardens, and Community Spaces.
Case Study : Felicia, Ahmedabad
Following is the case study on residential and commercial area designed byAr. Viral Modi.
“FeliciaAhmedabad ” , the site which is located in naranpuraAhmedabad, had a requirement of a common gathering space in the residential section and landscaping and designing of commercial section which was successfully carried out by principal architect of ZDS.
Residential common area consists of :
-Lawn for gathering and feeling of rejuvenation
-Seating for elder users
-Lily pond as a Water element for aesthetic and climatic purpose
-Kids play area so that needs of little ones is catered
-Alot of greens and an open area so that people feel connected to nature even being surrounded by built up on three sides.
Concept of design : It is primarily derived from nature, as there are organic forms and natural setting maintained.
Commercial section involves:
- Creating a language so that users are guided and are able to differentiate commercial and residential section
- Rules of landscaping followed in areas which have ground cover, shrubs,and trees
-Planting in masses of a type is also followed to make his design stand out.
