Fashion/Furniture Museum The first phase of this project was to research a chair that was design by an architect and recreate a miniature replica of the chair. In addition to recreating the chair, an enlarged connection of the chair was also required. Using the zoomed in chair connections, my group and I were able to develop a form for our building.

The Environmental Imperative is a course offered at Kent State University that promotes sustainable design and construction procedures. The project that is highlighted on The following pages was a group project. The requirement for this project was to design eco-friendly products to be sold at a Relay for Life Marathon, to raise money, to help fight cancer. My group members and I designed and built a recliner from an old dishwasher. In addition to the dish washer, each group member independently designed and built a lamp out of used materials.
