Hold on pain ends

We all go through times when we see the world through cloudy-colored glasses. Times when it’s tempting to just climb into bed and hide out, maybe for up to a month. There are plethora of ways to cut through the fog and to be hopeful.

For me hope is

“being able to see that there is a light despite all the darkness.” Finding hope when it seems like there’s none to be found can be hard, but it is possible.

How to Stay Hopeful?

1) Talk to hopeful people

Most of us know at least one person who can persistently see the bright side of life. And it is also true to say we know some people who leave us feeling drained too! Making a phone call to someone you care about might just be the thing you need to bring a dose of much needed encouragement and positivity. In my case, it always works!

2) Pause and reflect

When you feel yourself getting caught up with the rollercoaster of life it is easy to feel like things are spinning out of control. In these moments, just pause for a minute, take a breath and reflect on what your next steps will be. This sometimes is the best action you can take to find that spirit of hope again.

3) Limit your Bad News intake

Every day is full of both good and bad reports. Be careful not to excessively watch, listen to or engage with media that makes you feel hopeless. Create a challenge today to deliberately look for hope in the news and see what difference it makes.

4) Add some wow to your world

Engage yourself in your favorite activities that makes you cheerful. It might be baking a cake, painting a beautiful scenic view or even watching your favorite movie. Start innovating the things and add spark to your life.

5) Meditation

I personally feel meditating daily leads to a positive and healthy mind. Do not loose your hope! whenever you feel blue, invest your time in meditation. Trust me, you will feel positive.

6)Remember what you are thankful for

No matter how hard things get there is always something to be grateful for. It is possible to catch a glimmer of hope from unexpected places. What can you see around you that you are thankful for? Who are you most appreciative to have in your life? Practicing gratitude makes you better equipped to handle what comes your way with a hopeful spirit.

At last, i would mention a saying by Desmond Tutu " Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. "
