PRODUCT OF THE MONTH Buck the Quo is a social change campaign centered on shifting mindsets. It was launched as a multiphased approach to create awareness, foster acceptance, and increase the familiarity of the options for after high school. To reach this media saturated, ad-averse generation, one phase consisted of a traveling tour featuring a pop-up retail experience called the “More In Store” which appeared at state fairs and areas where teens gathered. This mock-retail engagement allowed teens to have a meaningful
conversation about what they want their life to be like in the future. Multiple touch points reinforced that they could tap into their potential and their futures were much brighter than they thought. Name Brand partnered with multiple award-winning advertising agency ‘Drake Cooper’ to source and manufacture an array of custom merchandise & branded product!
MISSION 43 MOVING TRIBUTE Our client, Mission 43, held a moving tribute on September 9th to honor the fallen first responders and citizens of 9.11.2001 in the foothills of the Eagle Bike Park. Mission 43 held a moving tribute to honor all lives lost on 9.11.2001 and their families by constantly moving the Flag of Honor, bearing the names of everyone our country lost that day. The day began at 8:46 am (when Flight 11 struck the North Tower) and the
tribute continued until 5:00 pm with awards, a raffle, and a BBQ afterwards. During the tribute the flag was passed from person to person which required the community to help keep it moving. Everyone was welcome to join in at any time to help carry the flag, or bring
their own, and complete as many laps as possible throughout the day. You could do this as an individual, family, or team. Everyone able to complete at least one mile long lap earned this year’s 9.11 Moving Tribute Patch. Even the kids were able to join in on their very own 1/2 mile kids course earning them a dog tag for each lap completed! The event was covered by 101.9 The Bull with a live broadcast. The event also featured Cafe Mule Coffee to serve warm coffee in the morning and cold brew in the evening. Speaking of brews,
Bear Island Brewing joined in on the event along with the food trucks, Foxy Franks and Westos Locos. If you weren’t able to make it to the event you can still purchase a shirt that features the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the 6 stars of a folded American flag. Help remember and honor September 11th, 2001 with a shirt that leaves an impact on everyone who sees it. You can purchase your shirt online at https://mission43.store/products/20189-11-moving-tribute-t-shirt.
