AUCTION RULES CHECK IN/OUT: After the conclusion of the auction,

attendees can proceed to the Check Out area at the east end of the barn to pay and pick up the items they have won. Guests who have previously given a credit card number, either with their RSVP or at Check In, will receive a receipt with their purchase total, including silent auction, live auction, scholarship pledges, and horse sponsorships. All items should be paid for the night of the Cowboy Ball. Credit cards will be run after we have checked all purchases for accuracy. Guests will receive a thank you letter and a final itemized receipt in the mail after the Ball.

CHECK-OUT: 30 minutes after the conclusion of the

auction the Check-Out desk located at the east end of the barn will open. You may pay for your purchase with either cash, personal check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. State sales tax will be added where applicable. Once you have paid for your items, you will be given a receipt.

TRANSFER OF ITEMS: To pick up your items, present

your “paid” receipt to the person(s) monitoring the item(s). If possible, please take your items home with you the night of the ball. If an item it too large to place in your vehicle, please make arrangements with Swiftsure personnel to pick up your item the next day by calling (208) 578-9111.

CONDITIONS OF SALE: Unless otherwise stated,

all items are sold “as is” and are not exchangeable.

Bidder understands that all items have been solicited in good faith, that all descriptions, representations, and values associated with an item are based on information supplied by the donor and are approximated values. Some items may have restrictions. Restrictions are clearly stated on the bid sheet. Certificates do not include tax or gratuity. It is recommended that, where trips or special events are involved, plans be made far enough in advance to accommodate both the purchaser and the donor.

LIVE AUCTION RULES: All general auction rules apply

for the Live Auction. Descriptions and restrictions for the Live Auction items are listed on the auction display sheets. All bidding during Live Auction will be done with your paddle number. Should you wish to place a bid, simply raise your paddle to be recognized by the auctioneer and his spotters.

SILENT AUCTION RULES: The highest bidder at

the bottom of the list is the purchaser of the item. Please enter your paddle number next to each Silent Auction bid. Descriptions and restrictions for the Silent Auction are listed on the auction bid sheet for each item. A Guaranteed Purchase Bid will close the auction item. Bids placed after the auction is closed are not valid.

SCHOLARSHIP PLEDGES: To pledge a scholarship,

simply raise your paddle at the scholarship level that you wish to support so the auctioneer and his spotter will see your paddle. You may pay for your pledges with cash, personal check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
