- Blu Bar A free-standing cocktail shack
No visit to Bali is complete without enjoying sunset cocktails and having a small bite from a chic beachfront vantage. Spectacularly located limestone cliffs on Bali’s southern Uluwatu coastline, The Blu Bar is a place to indulge in sublime cocktails and sumptuous dining whilst taking in the fabulous views across the Indian Ocean. As a complement to the property’s two restaurants, The Blu Bar is a place to having a small bite and the resort’s primary drinking destination. Set next the hotel’s impressively long infinity pool, the venue has the best view that Uluwatu Cliffs to offer. Seating for The Blu Bar is limited to 45 seats and is mixed between lounge seating and a 12 seat bar for The Shack. Not included in the seat count are the numerous comfortable daybeds and private cabanas which will also be serviced by this venue. The Blu Bar is known for it’s popular sunset cocktail hour and after dark, the venue becomes to the hotels destination bar. The venue is relaxed, playing a mix of electronica, trip hop, chill wave, downtempo music. Bar staff are dressed beach chic and chefs wear black uniforms with local accents. Service style is relaxed sophistication and staff are encouraged to have fun and interact with guests.

Design note
BLU BAR The Blu Bar is a comfortable Cocktail & small bites lounge set in an open air space of relaxed sophistication and accomplished mixology. The footprint of The Blu Bar isn’t large but allows a fully stocked bar with juicing station, a shaved ice machine, pizza oven and seating for 12 at the bar. The bar menu pays homage to the Tiki Cocktail with drinks that feature a lot of rum, tropical fruit, coconut and are served in the appropriate glassware. Inspirations from the surf culture are subtly intertwined into the design and visual identity of the space without looking kitschy.

Abiding by the principles of natural healing remedies, Lucid Liquids offers shakes and cleansing juices, nourishing milks, teas and herbed waters all made fresh in-house with locally-sourced seasonal ingredients.

Teas are calming for the soul and the perfect beverage to complete a spa treatment. Create your own favorite herbal tea blend and have it served in individual semi-transparent tea bags or a clear glass pot which enhances the taste. Designed to shared, these dishes are perfect for a light snack or afternoon tea with friends while taking a break from the sun. Inspired by the chill vibes from the beach where it gets it’s namesake, The Lookout is a stylish tapas and cocktail lounge that is a perfect destination for guests who want to go for a drink or a light bite. As a cozy, open-air lounge situated above the pool level, it is the resort’s ideal venue to meet and relax, the prime destination throughout the day for tea and coffee and for a pre and post dinner cocktails. The Lookout is not a lobby bar in the traditional sense - It’s a bar that just happens to be near the lobby. Breaking away from the traditional “everything for everyone” lobby lounge concept, it has a strong a cocktail program with an appetizing bar bites menu of modern tapas dishes – elevated
The cocktail list offers both something for the casual cocktail sipper and the discerning imbiber. The Lookout is the Radisson Blu’s resident mixologist’s workshop, where she is constantly improving her craft, testing new formulas and happily sharing it with guests. Cocktails explode with flavour from fresh citrus juices, herb & fruit infused spirits and homemade sodas that make the menu truly unique and exciting. Each cocktail is provided with a story and served in specialty glassware which is unique to each creation. Overlooking the resort and the nearby cliffs of Uluwatu, the view often steals the spotlight from the lounge but the design should not be overlooked. The design is understated and simplistic but with
a meticulous attention to detail. It is an expression of contemporary resort lifestyle while timing in in local cultural influences in to the finishing details. Designed with a minimalist aesthetic, it is a sophisticated yet a comfortable place with a sense of relaxation. The space is anchored with an interactive Cocktail Bar. The design follows the minimalist aesthetic so the back bar area should be clean and uncluttered and under counter storage space should be given priority. The bar is supported by a BOH pantry area for coffee preparation, ware washing. Tapas dishes are made to order in the main kitchen and delivered to the bar to avoid any food preparation in the pantry area. Service is lively and staff are knowledgable about everything they serve and keen to pass along their wisdom to guests. Uniforms are sleek, sexy with accents of local culture in woven into the fabric. The soundtrack is a mix of light house music and kept at low level.
