About me
I’m a Master Degree Holder in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape design from Politecnico di Milano university in Italy; with a score of 110/110. I worked at Massimo Novati Architecture Studio in Italy and I built up my skills in groups of different nationalities in which we’ve exchanged expertise and backgrounds in architecture and landscape fields. I conferred my bachelor degree from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Engineering, Landscape Architecture, credit hours program with a project GPA 4. My three year architecture experience in Italy awarded me intelligence and opened my mind to different perspectives and shared skills and ideas while benefiting from the best of each leaving me with an eager potential to invest more knowledge and talent to my designs.

REGENERATION OF HERITAGE COASTAL SITES THROUGH NATURE BASED SOLUTIONS
ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT
Climate changes and urban growth are two trends that force the world to consider the urban resilience to disasters in the coming years. This research studies the problems and vulnerability of the Al-Max village to the floods and sea level rise and how to follow Nature Based Solutions and Green infrastructure to manage the upcoming flood events in the area.

Canal Waterfront
Fishing Village
Lake Waterfront
Canal and lake waterfronts as well as wetlands are designed to store water in high flood seasons.
The fishing village is designed to be on the highest points from the sea level as an adapting measure to the flooding seasons.
The colors of the buildings in the new fishermen village are inspired from the colors of the informal settlements of the fishermen that were demolished by the government.

A project designed by UNii Design Engineering Colnsultancy architecture team
This is a part of my intervention in the project design proposal according to the cliet requirements. I designed the landscape, buildings distribution, masterplan, basement floor plan with the parking and architecture design of the residential buildings. A residential compound that includes residential buildings with commercial facilities like a mall, hotel and social hubs. The land varies in heights from 0 to -18m below sea level.
The land is divided into three phases, phase 1 and phase 2 include the residential buildings in a symmetrical order with their landscape of pools, outdoor spaces, kids garden, amphitheatre, gardens and cafes. While phase 3 includes the mall, hotel and sport facilities like courts.
The project consists of 35 buildings that vary in types according to their area and direction, as well as a mall and hotel that consists of residential studios and apartments.
This plan illustrates the buildings distribution and landscape of phase 1 project design.
MASTERPLAN - PHASE 1
There are three building types in the project, A,B and C. All the types include 4 flats per floor that differ in their size.
In type A, the typical floor includes 4 flats in which the two large flats can be divided into studios and small apartments in other floors.

WATERSCAPE: PIACENZA’S BLUE/GREEN BELT
PIACENZA, ITALY
The southern area of Piacenza Province is hilly and full of mountains. There are four valleys that pass through them rivers and streams that some of them can still be traced in Piacenza today. The north of Piacenza, which overlooks the Po River, is the plain side, the location makes it a very fertile land especially its surrounding, the small towns. As a result agriculture is one of the most important economy in the city. Piacenza covers an area in the Po valley, on the right bank of the river Po; it is a completely flat terrain, with an average altitude on the sea level of 61 meters (going from a minimum of 43 meters to a maximum of 88 meters).
The concept focuses on establishing a series of re-habitation strategies on site that is reclaimed for human development, and emphasizes the site as a seeding process for the natural systems, as well as environmental education and eco-tourism. The belt provides key ecosystem services, regenerate abandoned areas & offers recreational opportunities, contributing to healthy lifestyles.

[Group Project]Across the rural and urban wonders of Piacenza
This Route is made to unravel the relationship between the city and the rural areas of Piacenza using the infrastrcuture.
Two locations were selected across the rural and city center for a story telling process in an attempt to unravel the landscape system of Piacenza and understand it better. The first map from the rural side and the second is from the city center.
The second selected path in the rural area of Piacenza was the longer path, the one used for leisure, not for haste. Through this route, the different layers were identified and their intensity at different locations. From the small sections it is quite clear the depth and inntgration of the elements together to create this world of Cashinas.
The goal is to recreate a diverse local habitat. Using existing trees and new added ponds as a foundation, the idea is to apply minor earth shaping and careful replanting of local trees, shrubs and aquatic plants to restore shelters and habitats for aquatic life, amphibians and birds. In order to restore the resilience of flood retention and utilize riparian spaces, an adaptive landscape is suggested based on the existing topography and recreated ones: the lowest areas to be floodable natural wetlands, areas of lower flood risk were used for constructed wetlands and the highest areas on site for recreational, educational, production and leisure spaces.
DEFENSE SYSTEM
An upgraded Piacenza Belt that brings together both sides (Rural and Urban) in one place and co-exisit. Through the creation of a Blue/Green Belt established a series of re-habitation strategies to see Piacenza from a new prespective.
Building a “living filter”
A new Meandring Waterbody to imporve the Hydrological Function Opportunity. Hydrology filter layer: Replacing the existing system of dead-end and disconnected canals is a series of free-flowing rivulets, streams, ponds and marshland.
Productive Green Corridors
A multifunctional Network of open spaces along the canals where a system of retention reservoirs for excess water during flood season for water purification and productive landscape.
Wetland restoration, urban agriculture & reforestation
The ecological framework will adapt to the site condition over time. Bringing back wetlands that improve water quality.
Transitional belt
The belt is a primary link between the rural and urban zone with the tangenciale and a grey infrastructure, the transitional will be a green and blue infrastructure.
Natural water as cultural water
Public infrastructure of water systems that brings ecological developments and cultural activities together. Programs along the river, providing habitat for endangered species and making the water system visible to the public to celebrate water and culture.
MIXED USE BUILDING
The building is located in downtown cairo, egypt. it’s an area with a historical heritage that should be valued in the design, so a post modern identity is the charge for solving the challenge of preserving the historical identity while adding a sense of up to date integration.
The building is of a mixed use of commercial and residential. The ground and first floors are of commercial use, there are shops, cafes, a gym and a library; the upper floors are of residential use of three typical floors and the last two floors are duplexes. The basement floor is the underground parking area.
