*REVERSE ENGINEERING METHOD* HEBATALRAHMAN –EGYPT patent 141/2014-Egyptian patent office

Hebatalrahman11@yahoo.com Summary The quantitative analysis is used to determine the microstructure features of metals and alloys such as grain size number, average diameter of grain, number of particles per unit area and number of particles per unit volume. The volume fraction and the terms related to volume fraction such as shape factor, edge-to-edge spacing and distribution of secondary phases are detected by point count technique. Both quantitative and qualitative analysis were done. The microstructure features were calculated for the selected samples and compared with the standard photos stored; The comparison depends mainly on comparing each constituent characteristic. The chemical composition and qualitative analysis compare were taken into account. Finger print were developed.

Fields of applications Detection of special alloys Manufacturing of spare parts Quality control systems Material stress analysis Cracks& Defects detection Manufacturing rare parts

**New Topics** Fingerprint of materials is developed Accurate description prevent any confusion Suitable for all alloys & metals & composites Based on standard compare Non destructive process Depends on composition & microstructure No human error involved Deals with non-standard component
