SELECTED WORKS BY NAOMI CAMPOLLO B.ARCH 2014
These are just a few of my works in Urban Design. Each work is expressive of function, context, and aesthetic. I design each work with the intention of providing spaces that not only meet the clients needs and goals, but also with opportunites for enjoyable experiences of even the most mundane activities. I am passionate about architecture that embraces each unique human being with warmth, care, comfort, and ease. -Naomi Campollo

THE TEAM
ONE OF FOUR ALTERNATIVES DESIGNED WITH THE STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITE OMAR BONGO IN LIBREVILLE, GABON. THE PLAN IS CENTRALIZED AROUND A PARK WITH PLENTY OF SHADE TREES AND ALSO WHERE RADIATING PATHS MEET. I WORKED IN A TEAM OF FIVE TO DEVELOP THIS ALTERNATIVE. THROUGH AN ADDITIONAL WORKSHOP IN JUNE, PLAN RAYONNANT WAS CHOSEN AS THE PREFERRED ALTERNATIVE.

REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CREATE A CENTER FOR SPRINGFIELD, OREGON, AND A DESTINATION FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD, WHERE PEOPLE CAN SHOP, LIVE, AND ENJOY THE TREES. THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FORMS A GREAT BALANCE BETWEEN THE CAR AND THE PEDESTRIAN. MY TEAM AND I UTILIZED GREEN STREETS, GROUND FLOOR SHOPS WITH UPPER FLOOR RESIDENTIAL AND OFFICE SPACES.

HERITAGE PARK CELEBRATING HISTORY
EXAMPLE OF HOW BUILDINGS HAVE BUILT ONTO RESOURCE
THE HERITAGE PARK IN KASTEL STARI CENTRALIZES AROUND AN EXISTING RENAISSANCE AQUEDUCT. THE PARK WILL EDUCATE THE PEOPLE ABOUT HOW WATER WAS ONCE BROUGHT INTO THE CITY FROM THE HILLS. THIS NODE FOR THE CITY WILL HELP PRESERVE AND GENERATE SUPPORT FOR THE AQUEDUCT. IN A TEAM OF THREE, MY ROLE WAS TO DESIGN THE PARK PROPOSAL.
