LIVING WITH PEOPLE

THE VILLAGE AND MY TOPIC The village I went to for the course Living with People was in Nachikulam and Udayamarthandampuram which is located in the South of India in Tamil Nadu. My topic was to look at the activities of the men on the roadside stalls of the village of Nachikulam. There were about 11 stalls of various kinds like the Garland stalls, tea stalls. And these stalls are the most crowded one’s at the time of Pongal Festival. The shops in the village open up at 5:30am and shut around 8:30pm.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I would like to thank Mr. Jogi Panghal, Mr. Charles, Mrs. Seema Krishnakumar, Balram Sir and D.J Academy for giving me this opportunity to experience Living with People course again. This course has indeed taught me many more things.
