Sometimes we can get to a point in our lives where we feel like life is simple and that you can have huge success in your life. This is wrong. If life feels simple, you are not working hard enough. This is why I have taken this time to write a booklet. To share how to make life more complicated. And the number one way to accomplish this is through the art of OVERTHINKING.

What is step one to overthink your life? Good question. The first step is to find happiness. To do this we build self-confidence and start to think you are one of the best people to be created on this earth. By doing this we are creating the best results to come from overthinking so we can notice our change from straight cloud 9 happiness to hard core depression.

Examples of finding this happiness can be getting your dream job or an ultimate dating relationship where you believe you possibly have found the one. Other opportunities may involve your best friend, family members or if you are really lucky, your favorite celebrity. Infact, the more people involved...the better!

And this is where is starts to get interesting. We begin to start the overthinking proccess. Step two: Start to doubt you deserve this type of happiness. Why would you start to doubt your happiness you say? The answer is simple. You begin think you haven’t worked hard enough to deservve this. Or you’re not up to the social standards of this type of happiness.

Examples: It starts out as simple as thinking “Dang, life is just too good. What did I do to deserve this?” Then it starts to build... ”Am I really enough?” “Life’s going to get worse because its so good” “My hopes are too high” And you start to spark your sadness of lowering the extreme the happiness you are feeling.

Following those growing doubt is where you put the over into overthinking. The next step is to add in the “WHAT IFS” into the mindset of “I do not deserve this”. When you begin to see the what ifs leading into creating terrible scenarios in your happy life then you could think about it so much that it could possibly happen. Examples” “What if he stops liking me” “What if I get fired” “What If this doesn’t work out how I want” “What if this is actually a prank” “What if they don’t like this idea”

Is this effcient? Yes, probably the most important step is thinking “what if..” because you begin to creat scenarios in your life that would unlikley happen but because you start to play it so much in your mind you become so worried your walls go up to protect yourself which blocks out more happiness than saddness in the end. Crazy right?

Once your mind is moving a million words per minuite in doubt, you begin to think it’s crazy to think all of those things so you feel you cannot express those thoughts outloud. Step four: Do not share your thoughts Why would you want to share some of your biggest fears that you’ve built up in your head? People would think it was unreasonable and they wouldn’t understand. You’ve been given the opportunity to have happiness... and you turn it down?!

With all this stress comes great responsiblity. And with all of this thinking in mind, this is known as overthinking congrats! You have accomplished something that could change your life for the worse. At this point you have probably worried everyone around you with your weird stand-off behavior. This may have not messed up your relationship comepletely however you have two steps you can accomplsih. These are not neccessarily both required but it will top of your performance and achieve the best “overthinking experience” you could opt for.

Step Five: (OPTIONAL) Explode your emotions outloud. or Just disapear in the woods. I personally have only accomplished the first option more often. I have been built up with so much emotion of overthink that one day someone will say something that could possibly send a trigger. The second option can be the most calming reaction to the situation of overwhelming feelings. The woods is a very peacecful place where you can experience the following emotions in surrounding silence. Be prepared, Crying, screaming, shaking, weakness, and vulnerablity are all side effects of overthinking and will all be shown when you accomplish this step. But this will be the realease for you to build up your happiness again and start the proccess all over again.

This is a challenge. It is not something easy to accomplish. To destroy your peak happiness with thought takes skill and only few are able to accomplish this with such percision. However, I personally challenge you to overthink in one of your happy experiences. This way you will have the opportunity to know what it feels like to destroy a happy moment with the power of thoughts. Good Luck and may happiness continue to after an experience like this.
