the public market and the collective appropriation of the city Graduation Final Project. The proposed intervention is based on the intention of building an articulating equipment for the territory of Santa Cecília, located in the central region of São Paulo, Brazil, always aiming to connect architecture with the city. The proposal for the Public Market has the intention of integrating the neighborhood and the entire Largo de Santa Cecília, intervening and acting in a residual space of the area, intending to resignify this place from an equipment that acts as a connector of the public spaces of the region. The void found in the center of the block favors an excellent situation for intervention and modification in the middle of a consolidated city. The project’s program was defined based on studies of the region, where its needs were observed, and also based on the basic needs of a public market. Programs such as a support for homeless people and the street vendors area emerged as an answer to the needs of the region, since restaurants, bars, market and food courts are already part of the market as a whole.

hybrid Sixth semester project. The hybrid building is a large complex composed by commercial, residential and corporate spaces. The project is located in Santa Cecília neighborhood (Sao Paulo, Brazil), next to Marechal Deodoro subway station. One of its main accesses is through the subway station. Visiting the area around, it is possible to observe the importance of creating a connection between the project - subway – minhocão (elevated expressway). With a good fruition on the city block, the project will become something inviting to visitors who circulate the area, generating movement and commerce. The terrain has an unevenness of 4.50 meters. To work within this gap, the project will be divided on 2 levels, the highest level being accessed from the Albuquerque Lins Street, and the lowest level being accessed from the entrance of the subway station. On the highest level there are direct accesses to the residential and corporate towers, and on the lowest level there is a plaza and commerce area.
