The purpose of this project is to provide residents with a safe, comfortable and sustainable environment. Giving a refreshing feeling after being busy with work after arriving home.
The location chosen for study is located in Srah Chak commune, Phnom Penh.

Strength:
- Located in the city
-Adequate water, electricity and drainage system
-Easy to live (near hospitals, schools, markets ...)
Weakness:

-There are green trees around
Threats:
- There are tall buildings around, blocking the flow of air and losing privacy
CONCEPTUAL
Ideas start from geometric shapes (rectangles) perpendicular to each other.
Then assemble in an L shape to withstand the heat of the sun and provide shade to the other side.
The first floor is rotated 8 degrees.
Then overlap.Open space and air flow. Sun trip.

An apartment is a gathering place that resembles a community in a building.
SITE LOCATION
The land location is in Sangkat Prek Ta Sek, Khan Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh.

The concept of this project is to start from the focus on living comfortably, safely and sustainably in the community. Creating public spaces to provide gatherings. Interacting with each other creates a community.

Rethinking Urban Public Toilet
Public attention An important part of the urban base serves as a base for the community. Public secret rooms in Phnom Penh are less comfortable.
This is 2x2 directions, been working on it for 6 weeks with my teammate and my advisor. The project is designed based on Minimalism and sustainability The design idea was inspired by the Chaktomuk River and it was beneficial for the location to allow people to walk from side to side.. The roof is inspired by two waves of water, which can make the building more vibrant and interesting as well. The shape of the building is also similar to the area around the Chaktomuk River.

A flow of Chatomuk river
Coverting into 4 pieces.
A single shape follow the 4 islands condition, the middle part is a confluence.
The height of a building follow by water flows from higher altitudes to lower altiudes.
The final form of the building, the middle part is a connecting area of those 4 shapes.
