WELCOME OUR NEW STAFF MEMBER - CHRISTOPHER ROTH

Join us in welcoming Christopher “Cris” Roth to the City of Nassau Bay! Roth joined us on January 31 as the Building Official in transition. He will be training alongside outgoing Building Official Mark Stelly until his retirement.

The Building Official oversees the Building Department for the City, reviewing plans and inspections; working with local contractors, homeowners, architects and engineers; scheduling maintenance of City Hall, and maintaining a presence in the community.

Roth brings experience from several regional municipalities including Galveston, League City, Kemah, La Marque and the Village of Tiki Island.

“I’ve been in construction since I could walk, and I have nine years of experience conducting building inspections,” Roth said. “I’m very excited to put my skills to use in the City of Nassau Bay.”
