Traditional models of psychotherapy do not explicitly analyze power within the clinical room between the therapist and client. Shinrin-yoku and nature therapy are powerful companions to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and biofeedback strategies to engage the parasympathetic nervous system. Relaxation exercises, time management, mental fitness, multicultural psychoeducational components, and breaks from technology will be discussed as we guide clients to achieve balance and overcome symptoms of anxiety.
