Lisbeth Lisbeth was established in 1853 by Louis Nessel, the mayor of Soultzmatt at this time.

Lisbeth is an Alsacian Brand of spring water from the mountains who’s called the Vosges. The spring of the water is in the village of Soultzmatt.

Presentation of Lisbeth products At its foundation Lisbeth produced only flat, slightly sparkling and effervescent water.

Presentation of Lisbeth products In 2002, they launched the production of flavoured waters and got the certification ISO 9001 version 2000. The flavors are Lemon-Lime, Strawberry and Peach-Orange. In 2007 Lisbeth Peach-Orange was elected best flavored water in France.

Presentation of Lisbeth products In 2004, the Alsatian soda, named Elsass Cola, was launched. This Soda is made with the water from Lisbeth, Erstein sugar (which is also a regional brand) and aroma. It is a famous regional drink. We have chosen to present this brand in particular, because often people prefer to drink this regional Cola rather than the traditional Cola everyone else knows.

Implantation in the region Water Soultzmatt is known since the early Middle Ages but its real operation begins under the Second Empire in private, prior to its acquisition and exploitation by a municipal authority in 1952. The mineral waters and sources of Soultzmatt from 12 resurgences for NESSEL and two sources for LISBETH , one supplies the manufacture of plain water (plain or Lisbeth Noble Valley) . The other is used for gas bubbly water whose Lisbeth Lisbeth and light .

Implantation in the region 1272: First written record of Soultzmatt sources by an Alsatian monk. The shepherds and the shepherds noticed that their animals had a predilection for the waters " tart ". This is where the name comes from the village of Soultzmatt " Sultz matte ", the " pre salted source."

1617: On the order of the bishop of Strasbourg , five sources are updated and exploited. A bathhouse was built and the inhabitants were granted the right to use the bathroom and enjoyment of water to drink.

1838: Sources are acquired by Louis Nessel , Mayor of Soultzmatt , who gave his name to the Source.

Flavored drinks : flavored -Waters ( lemon-lime , strawberry, peach -orange) -Sodas (Queen's Tonic , Elsass Cola ) It has a small logo that shows Alsace. Lisbeth is named " the heart of Alsace ! "Since it is born in the heart of Alsace.

Why does this brand represent our region?

This brand represent our region because it is the brand of water or flavoured water that is the most sold in Alsace. This brand sells his products at every supermarket or at public places.

We have chosen this brand because water is something everyone needs.

Also, it often happens that during summertime, people drink Elsass Cola at the village celebrations or summer festivals. We feel proud to have our own water!
