Casa Cristal Loft-type house
Casa Cristal is the result of a conceptual exercise in which the objective was to depict communication from the inside if the house, with the exterior, which is why this project is located in an imaginary geography, idealized in terms of communication and continuous contact with nature. The exercise begins with the incorporation of composition as a design tool, and from there, a first aerial image is generated of the aspect of the house. After that, a volumetric approach is taken, based on the geometric composition; this approach integrates concepts as the plane, the line, the point and the juxtaposition and subtraction of these elements. This house has a volumetry that allows for the contemplation of the environment; Its name, which roughly translates to ‘Glass House’, is given because in the development of the concept of communication and connection with the environment, glass becomes the main element. Entre Arboles
Countryside house
Entre Árboles is a house located in a rural area near Bogota. This house’s design comes from an interpretation of the environment, in which nature plays a fundamental role, the terrain is characterized by its extensive vege-tation and the slope of the plot; the importance of integrating an architectur-al element in a uniform manner, in such a way that there is a minimal impact to the surroundings, is identified in the environment’s analysis; this is why the conceptualization of the treetops in from an aerial view is incorporated, besides the usage of trees as a fundamental part of the structure of the house.

Cultural Center Socio-Cultural Equipment
PORTFOLIO
This project comes from the goal to offer a recreational and cultural equipment to the elderly population that resides in the Niza Norte neigh-borhood in Bogota. As a baseline for this project, the internal mechanism of a clock as the exemplification of time was integrated to the design, since this equipment is aimed towards the elderly. This is because it is important to highlight the relevance of the stories that these people have lived and all the knowledge they have acquired. The equipment has an auditorium, dressing rooms, reading rooms, classrooms, exhibition panels, a coffee shop, transit areas and service areas. This cultural center is designed so that the elderly are able to take lessons in subjects as crafts, drawing and painting, amongst others, and it also allows to display the results of these classes in shows and exhibits within the same equipment. 12

Cartagena 5 Connectivity Center Urbanism Master Plan Cartagena Connectivity Center is generat-ed as the recreation of a tender process for an urban renewal process in what cur-rently is a space used by the Colombian Navy. The development of this project was a team effort, in which the first stage of the project was overseen by Karolina Cruz and the second stage by Natalia Pardo. PORTFOLIO

Cartagena Connectivity Center
Cartagena Connectivity Center is created because of the need to manage an urban renewal plan in one of the areas of the Cartagena city, which currently belongs to the Colombian Navy. This project focused on the need of incor-porating a space that would supplement the historic center of the city, which throughout the years has established itself as one of the most popular tour-istic locations of Colombia. However, after some analysis, it was determined that this city lacked functional commercial and recreational areas both for the locals and the visitors, which is why the usage of this terrain is proposed for the incorporation of commercial, recreational and housing areas. STAGE 1
Stages Two stages were defined for the execution of this project which allows for a clear projection in terms of time and budget for this development plan which incorporates urban and architectural design. The projection of this stages is built from a financial analysis which determines which are the spaces or elements that generate better profitability, and these would be included in the STAGE 1 of development.

The intervention proposal remedies the needs of this place as a habitat to various animal and vegetal species; additionally, it offers adequate spaces that allow the entry of the general public to a place with enormous ecologic qualities, that provide a wonderful landscape to behold, which is possible thanks to the incorporation of different structures which, as a set make up an anthropogenic landscape. This gen-erates an invaluable identity as an ecologic park. Additionally, the incorporation of this project does not compete in any way with the existing landscape, since it was de-signed around the natural landscape of the wetland; this is why none of the elements that are integrated to this anthropogenic landscape alters the biological processes of the wetland.

[RE]VISION VIGNALE [RE]VISION VIGNALE is a proposal that works on changing the main image of Vignale Monferrato and the experiences for people who go to visit this place. We developed a general strategy proposing a tour of the city, and then we focused on developing three main points that we call THE THREE NODES, where we redesign these three places in public places with green areas and new value for this city.
