Experience a new dining alternative, entwined in a modern day Japanese inspired glass house, while savoring international comfort foods. The premier wines and exclusive champagnes at Portico will be perfectly suited for the dining companion, and also available for retail sales. In Italian, a portico has a meaning of a porch or walkway with a roof supported by columns, often leading to the entrance of a building. Here we take you to enjoy delightful visual surprises at every turn, as the designer created a warm distinctive ambiance while taking advantage of the unique spaces of the property. Treat your senses to an entirely new vibe, where the cool sophistication of the city meets the comfort of a terrace setting. The 350 square meter space is surprisingly intimate, with dramatic champagne-toned glasses delineating one dining-lounge in the solarium. Modern sensibility is beautifully portrayed throughout the artwork that adorns the glass building. The main dining room features individual seating between glass towers enhanced by warmth glow from the tower and high ceilings and softly lit bar for an intimate dining space. Floor to ceiling glass panels divide the airy space into smaller, more intimate areas furnished with uncovered brown timber tables and wired chairs, along with contemporary materials such as glasses, stainless steel and concrete. To take full advantage of the perfect city evenings, Portico has created a lavish outdoor patio, complete with a large bar with wooden tables, benches style seating and whimsical touches on the mural painting on the glass wall. The overall timber deck is built with glass structure, including the rooftop, for maximum transparency. The overall theme makes an ideal space for a group that would like to enjoy the patio experience while sharing drinks in a more relaxed atmosphere. The dining area seats 50 while the terrace seats 70. So whether you decided to savor a cappuccino or a champagne at the bar, Portico will ensure you a memorable dining experience. The team from Avorio underscore the dramatic dĂŠcor with a superior blend of Western and Asian flavors. Try the Smoked Salmon with Chives-Potato Cake and Sour Cream or Fried Dory with Signature Chilli as appetizer, followed by Angel hair with Tiger Prawns and Crispy Smoked Beef. Additionally, Portico also offers an Asian
