Hook In It seems Australians can't get enough of cuisine from the good ol' US of A. Sharing their name with a gritty Brooklyn suburb that knows its food, Red Hook is the latest in laneway ventures that have us absolutely salivating. This delicious new restaurant from creative duo Bonnie Shearston and Tom Sanceau is tucked away in the Valley's Gresham Lane, serving hungry city-dwellers throughout the day and well into the night. Gastronomes can pick up a light breakfast before work, indulge in a juicy Brooklyn-style burger at lunch, and mingle over American beers, wines and drinks in the evening. Brisbane's laneways are certainly the place to be this summer. red-hook.com.au
