bridge. CON matrix displays the i and j componets of each member as well as the modulus of elastisity, area, and radius of gyration.
R Matrix created to show if nodes are fixed or free in the xdirection and y-direction. P Matrix was created to show the forces in the x-direction and y-direction at each node.
Number of member determined using CON matrix. Number of nodes determined using XY matrix.
LEN Program created to make matrix with the length of each member.
ANG Program created to make matrix with the angle from the postive x axis for each member.

Truss2D Program created to determine the local 4x4 k matrix for each member using CON matrix and LEN matrix.
MAKEDOF Program created to make matrix that numbers the DOFs in order from low node # to high node # in XY order.
FVEC Program created to put the loads from the P matrix into a force vector at their respective DOFs.
MAKEB Program created to put create the 4x4 transformation matrix for each member using the ANG matrix.
MAKEA Program created tomake the assembly matrix A for each member using the DOF

Programs set up to evaluate all routines at one time.
K system matrix created using A, B, and k matrix for each member. U matrix created using Kystem and Force matrix. This matrix shows the delfections at each node.

Max deflection determined.
Min deflection determined.
Force program created to determine the forces on each member at the i end of each member. A positive value represents a member in tension. A negative value represent a member in compression.
TensileStress program created to make a matrix listing the stresses for each member. Max stress determined for members with highest tensile and compressive stress. Ratio of the max tensile and compressive stress to the allowable stress.

Program created to make a matrix listed the ratio of stress to the allowable stress for each member. Postive ratio represent member in tension and negative ratios represent members in compression.
Member highest tensile stress is Member 48 = 10.051ksi. Member highest compressive stress is Member 17 = 11.061 ksi. Member failing first in compression is Member 17. Max Defletion at node 14 and node 43 = 1.013 in
