A Guide to Cheering Up Your Friends How to make your loved ones feel better
Sometimes the people closest to us need a little extra care... We all go through tough times and while it might seem like your friend just wants to be alone, it can be that they actually need a friend to reach out and let them know that someone is there
Lend them an ear This can be the smallest thing, like sending a text to say you're thinking of them or, even better, picking up the phone for a good ol' chin wag
Bring them treats If your friend isn't feeling up to talking, giving them food is another way to show them that you care. Even if they do want to chat, cupcakes and a catch up are a fabulous combination!
Stock their fridge It could be that a loved one has a lot on their plate, perhaps they have a new baby or are super busy at work. In these situations , bringing them food ready to pop in the oven or grab on the go could be just what they need
Send a care package When either you or your friend are abroad and you can't see them in person, a lovely way to look out for them from afar is to send a cute selection of things they might need, like a lip gloss, biscuits and Lemsip
Share floofy pets If your friend is an animal lover, they won't be able to resist the cuteness overload of fluffy kitties and puppers. This is a bonus as looking at pictures of baby animals has shown to improve your mood
Make them laugh To be friends, you pretty much have to share the same sense of humour. So, find a video that will make them chuckle. After all laughter is the greatest medicine, it's free and feel-goodtastic!
