Spell Research If you wish, shuffle your discard pile into your research deck. If you wish, spend coins to boost research: 1 coin = draw 1 extra card 5 coins = keep 1 extra card (but no more than double the number you would otherwise draw or keep) Draw 4 research deck cards, keep 1, and discard the rest. Various cards increase this. Teach spells Two Magi may teach up to two known spells to each other. Both find and add those cards to their known spells, then shuffle their research and discard together. Uses an action for both magi.
Mana use rule : When spending mana you may instead use a pair of mana, one from each of the adjacent elements.
