The sacred land on which The National Ballet of Canada operates has been a site of human activity for over 15,000 years. This land is the territory of the Mississaugas of New Credit, Haudenosaunee and the Huron Wendat. Today, Toronto is still home to many indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in their community, on this territory.

“Twelve years ago we joined the Patrons’ Council and for the last two seasons we have been enthusiastic members of the Music Circle. Watching the collaboration between dancers and musicians take shape in the moment of performance is inspiring and invests our experience of ballet with a sense of energy, freshness and excitement. We are so proud of The National Ballet of Canada and its Orchestra, and we are committed to their success and wellbeing. We hope that anyone who enjoys the arts, as we do, will help to support our artistic community and ensure that it thrives.” — Charles and Anne Morison
