Househam Sprayers Ltd Company Profile The in-house design department now consists of a permanent team of four designers, dedicated to improving and developing each of the vast range of sprayers. Househam do listen carefully to the remarks and requests of the individual operator and owner and are constantly trying to update the machines from feedback received. The design teams remit is to continually improve not only the general machines but the highly effective new range of electronics like FIELD MASTER, Househam's in-house developed GPS mapping system. The Househam range encompasses self-propelled sprayers and trailed sprayers, from the basic and economical Eco-Star trailed machine to the top of the range, brand new Merlin self-propelled sprayer. The range has machines from 2000 to 6000 litres. Perhaps one of the most interesting of the new machines is the 3000 litre Spirit self-propelled. Again, totally designed in house, the team were given the task over two years ago to design and build a lightweight, less complicated sprayer. Launched last year the Spirit is under 6000 kg has a 24 meter boom and has already won much acclaim, especially in the difficult working conditions found on farms all over the country in the last year. >>>

Power for the self-propelled units comes from a reliable and powerful range of ACERT engines from CAT, with full electronic management for maximum fuel economy. Engines are mounted on all the models to offer the best possible centre of gravity, even on Spirit, where the unit is placed at the rear, with clever work from the experienced design team this machine still offers a superb weight distribution, as well as offering the quietest cab (with the rear mounted engine) in the market. RPM can also be controlled from both the cab and side mounted near the filling points. AR and Merlin offer the smoothest possible performance on field, track and road with the Air Ride suspension. For the home market, two trailed range are available, the budget range Eco-Star, a well-made but easy to operate sprayer offering simple controls without the mass of electronics found on higher specification machines. Househamʼs own Field Master GPS Mapping system is heralded as one of the leading types in the market, designed mainly in-house it is one of only a few machines that are compatible with Yara N Sensor, Farmade and SOYL systems. The user friendly touch screen, recently updated, provides accurate field mapping, Light bar guidance and Auto section control in one. In the new Merlin the system can be integrated into one screen on the TMC (Total Machine Control). Jobs can be planned and recorded with the Field Master or even have data transfer to and from it via a USB.
