DAYS 6–7 I TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK

Catch a flight to Punta Arenas; then transfer to breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park. Spend a day exploring the park with an expert guide. Marvel at pristine turquoise lakes, glaciers, and waterfalls in this stunning region.

DAYS 8–9 I EL CALAFATE, ARGENTINA

Enjoy the scenic drive to El Calafate. The following day, attend a talk by a local expert on the Perito Moreno Glacier; then venture into Los Glaciares National Park to view this incredible advancing ice mass.

DAYS 10–11 I USHUAIA

DAYS 1–3 I BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA/ SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE (BARILOCHE)

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer is included. Enjoy free time to explore the elegant streets of Buenos Aires. The following morning, catch a flight to northern Patagonia. Enjoy the highlights of this picturesque town on a half-day tour driving along the edge of sapphire-hued Nahuel Huapi Lake, visiting scenic Bahía López or López Bay, and ascending Cerro Campanario for panoramic views of the surrounding forests and snowcapped peaks. Spend the next day hiking, mountain biking, or rafting in the stunning Bariloche region.

DAYS 4–5 I PUERTO VARAS, CHILE

Travel by bus and ferry to Puerto Varas in the stunning Chilean Lake District. Enjoy the sights from the Cruce de los Lagos, or Lake Crossing, considered one of the most scenic ferry cruises in the world. Explore Puerto Varas the next day, or opt for an excursion to Chiloé Island, a trek to Desolation Pass, or a day hike to the Osorno Volcano.

Fly to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Choose to go flight-seeing in a helicopter over the surrounding snowcapped peaks, visit the Maritime Museum, or venture into Tierra del Fuego National Park. The next day, navigate the Beagle Channel on a catamaran, passing the “lighthouse at the end of the world,” as well as islands inhabited by bird and seal colonies. Get up close to the penguins of Martillo Island.

DAYS 12–14 I BUENOS AIRES

Fly back to Buenos Aires, and take time to explore on your own. Take part in a tango lesson taught by dancers at a venue popular with locals. Once you’ve practiced your new steps, it’s time for a milonga, a local tradition where students and teachers drop by to practice their moves. Sit back and enjoy, or join in if you’re feeling brave. The next day, take a tour of the city’s highlights, including Recoleta Cemetery and Plaza de Mayo, where Eva Perón’s famed balcony presides over the square. Depart at any time on our final day.
