DAYS 1–2 I LONDON, ENGLAND In London, enjoy a welcome reception, then tour the Churchill War Rooms. Explore the H.M.S. Belfast and visit Norfolk House, where much of the planning for D-Day took place. Kensington Hotel (or similar) | Meals: 1B, 1D

DAY 3 I LONDON/PORTSMOUTH At Bletchley Park, discover the story behind the Enigma code breakers. Travel to Portsmouth to explore the D-Day Museum, and tour Southwick House, former headquarters of the Allied commanders. Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa Meals: 1B, 1D

DAYS 4–7 I NORMANDY, FRANCE/ D-DAY ANNIVERSARY Cross the English Channel and visit the Pegasus Memorial Bridge and Museum. Trace the footsteps of thousands of soldiers at Juno Beach and Gold Beach, then continue to the German artillery battery at Longues-sur-Mer. Explore the village of Saint-Mère-Église, where paratroopers dropped from the sky in a hail of gunfire on June 5, 1944. On the anniversary of D-Day, attend a commemoration ceremony at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial overlooking Omaha Beach.* Trace the history of the Vierville Draw and see remnants of German fortifications along the Atlantic Wall.
