DAYS 1–5 I U.S./HANOI, VIETNAM/ HA LONG BAY/VINH MOC Fly overnight to Hanoi and gather for a welcome reception. Discover enchanting Hanoi on a guided tour, then embark the ship in Haiphong. Board a traditional-style junk for a cruise among the spectacular karst landscapes of Ha Long Bay, and visit a floating village. Venture to the infamous demilitarized zone (DMZ), and explore the tunnels dug for safe harbor during the war. DAYS 6–9 I HUE/DA NANG/HOI AN/ QUI NHON Dock in Chan May and head inland to Hue to visit markets, royal tombs, and the stunning Imperial City. From vibrant Da Nang, set out to discover treasured sites with our guides, from the UNESCO World Heritage site of My Son to the medieval lanes of Hoi An. Take a cooking class with a local chef, or head for the Marble Mountains to hike to a Buddhist cave sanctuary. Cruise to Qui Nhon, and travel inland to see the Cham towers of Banh It and the Quang Trung Museum. Meals: 4B, 4L, 4D DAYS 10–14 I VAN PHONG BAY/CON DAO NATIONAL PARK/HO CHI MINH CITY Explore the dunes and mangroves of spectacular Van Phong Bay and swim in its turquoise waters. In Port Dayot, see fishermen in basket boats paddling between colorful fishing boats. Discover the historic, jungle-covered islands of Con Dao National Park on hikes and excursions by Zodiac or kayak. Then cruise to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, and set off on a tour of its historic sites, temples, and pagodas. Meals: 5B, 4L, 4D
