DAYS 1–2 I GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR/ GALÁPAGOS Fly to Guayaquil and transfer to our hotel. The following morning, fly to the Galápagos Islands and board our ship. Hotel del Parque; National Geographic Islander for the remainder of the trip | Meals: 1B, 1L, 1D

DAYS 3–6 I GALÁPAGOS Our expedition begins and ends in Isla Baltra. Each day, we will have the opportunity to go on interpretive nature walks, swim, snorkel, or explore by kayak or Zodiac. Listed below is a sample of islands we may visit.* Meals: 4B, 4L, 4D

ISLA BARTOLOMÉ: Walk to the top of Bartolomé’s volcanic cone for a stunning view of Pinnacle Rock and the surrounding beaches. Snorkel among schools of multicolored reef fish.

ISLA RÁBIDA: Snorkel along rocky shores and spot migratory flamingos and brown pelicans.

ISLA ISABELA: Explore the largest island in the group, home to marine iguanas, sea turtles, the only species of flightless cormorant in the world, and the only penguin species that inhabits the Equator.

ISLA SANTA CRUZ: Call at Puerto Ayora, the largest town on the island and the headquarters of both the Galápagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Research Station. Head to the lush, green highlands to see giant tortoises roaming in the wild.

DAY 7 I GUAYAQUIL Disembark and fly to Guayaquil. Enjoy day rooms at Hotel del Parque before your evening flight. Meals: 1B

A diverse expedition team, including an Expedition Leader, a photo instructor, and local naturalists will accompany this trip.
