TBA NATIONAL HUNT STALLION PARADE 2012 11.00 A.M. TODAY IN THE PADDOCK I am delighted to welcome you to Cheltenham for the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association’s National Hunt Stallion Parade. The TBA National Hunt Stallion Parade will take place from 11 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. today in the Parade Paddock. The stallions will parade in alphabetical order and their details are contained in this complimentary booklet. Ten British based EBF qualified NH and dual purpose sires will be shown individually in the Winners Enclosure, with commentary from the Chief Executive of Goffs and Managing Director of Doncaster Bloodstock Sales Ltd, Henry Beeby, and International Equestrian Commentator Stephen Hadley. The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) is the only official body representing Thoroughbred Breeders in Great Britain, protecting the interests of and campaigning for both National Hunt and Flat Breeders. To continue to be as effective as possible the TBA needs the support of all breeders and breeding enthusiasts; today we are raising funds to enable the TBA to continue with this valuable work. We would like to thank the connections of every stallion parading today, for their generosity in supporting this initiative by each kindly donating a nomination, which will be sold by Silent Auction in the TBA Stallion Parade marquee (M5) later today. I hope you enjoy the parade. Robert Waley-Cohen Chairman, TBA National Hunt Committee The TBA would like to thank Weatherbys General Stud Book Ltd. for their help and support in the production of this guide

THE TBA ANNOUNCES THE ELITE NH MARES INCENTIVE SCHEME 2013 - at a glance The aim of the Scheme is to underline to mare owners the quality of stallions available in this country and to give a valuable incentive to TBA members who own such mares to cover them with the best from the ranks of young or proven stallions in Britain. In its second year, the Elite National Hunt Mares Incentive Scheme will continue to reward those mares proven on the racecourse or at stud, and in this way we believe the Scheme will directly increase the quality of jumps horses being bred here in Britain. Scheme details: For British-based mares aged 18 years and under (born 1995 or later) that have achieved a defined level of NH racing performance, or that have produced NH runners of a defined level, to be owned by paid up Members of the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association. In all cases mares must be British-based and the mare owner is responsible for paying the applicable VAT.
