Call for Leadership Team 37th National Selection Conference, 29 March - 2 April 2018
Dear EYP Alumni, dear friends, the European Youth Parliament Greece is proud to open the Call for the Leadership Team for its 37th National Selection Conference. The session will be held in the city of Athens from the 29th of March to the 2nd of April under the theme: “Thinking over the future of Europe: Sustainable development as a political choice for the generations to come” and is head-organised by Ms. Eleanna Siozou & Mr. Vasilis Tsenes from Greece. The President of the session will be Mr. Can Elvanlioğlu from Turkey. We are now looking for 3 non-chairing Vice-Presidents & 1-2 Editor(s) to join us into building a vision for the session and shaping what promises to become a unique and unforgettable spring event. There will be no participation fee for the Officials, however the travel expenses to and from the session shall be covered by the participants themselves. During the 5 days of the session the Head-Organising Committee will provide free accommodation in one of the city’s hotels for all Officials. Please note that the Vice-Presidents and the Editor(s) are expected to arrive in Athens no later than the morning of Thursday, 29 March 2018, in order to take part into the CJO’s Teambuilding & Training. Departures can take place right after the Closing Ceremony of the Conference, in the evening of Monday, 2 April 2018, however accommodation at the hotel will be free for that night too. If you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the aforementioned dates you can be accommodated by a member of EYP Greece that resides in Athens. In order to apply, follow these steps: 1. Log in to the EYP Members’ Platform (in case of encountering problems contact support@eyp.org); 2. Make sure your personal profile details are updated (full name, contact information etc.); 3. Apply for Athens 2018 - 37th National Selection Conference of EYP Greece on the Event’s Page by filling the questions for the position of the Vice-President or the Editor. The deadline for submitting an application is Sunday, 7 January 2018, 12:00 CET (noon). All applicants will be informed individually about the selection outcome right after the selection process is complete. The Selection Panel for the Vice-Presidents will consist of the Head-Organisers of the session, namely Ms. Eleanna Siozou & Mr. Vasilis Tsenes, the President of the session Mr. Can Elvanlioğlu & the President of EYP Greece Mr. Dionysis Patriarcheas. The Selection Panel for the Editor(s) will consist of the Head-Organisers of the session, the President of the session & Ms. Sofia-Xeni Kathareiou as a designated member of the Executive Board of EYP Greece.
