Call​ ​for​ ​Organisers

37​th​​ ​National​ ​Selection​ ​Conference,​ ​March​ ​-​ ​April​ ​2018

Dear​ ​EYP​ ​Alumni,​ ​dear​ ​friends, the European Youth Parliament Greece is proud to open the Call for Organisers for its 37​th National Selection Conference.

The session will be held in the city of Athens from the ​29​th of March to the 2​nd of April under the theme: “Thinking over the future of Europe: Sustainable development as a political choice for the generations to come”​ ​and​ ​is​ ​head-organised​ ​by​ ​Ms.​ ​Eleanna​ ​Siozou​ ​&​ ​Mr.​ ​Vasilis​ ​Tsenes.

We are now looking for ​16 Organisers to join us into realising our vision and shaping what promises to become a unique and unforgettable spring session. Before applying, we kindly request you to go through our Vision​ ​for​ ​the​ ​Organising​ ​Team​.

There will be no participation fee for the Officials, however the travel expenses to and from the session shall be covered by the participants. During 5 days of the session the Head-Organising Committee will provide free accommodation​ ​in​ ​one​ ​of​ ​the​ ​city’s​ ​hotels​ ​for​ ​all​ ​Officials.

Please note that the Organisers are expected to ​arrive in Athens on Tuesday, 27 March 2018​, in order to take part into the Organisers’ Training. Departures can take place right after the Closing Ceremony of the Conference,​ ​in​ ​the​ ​evening​ ​of​ ​Monday,​ ​2​ ​April​ ​2018.

In​ ​order​ ​to​ ​apply,​ ​follow​ ​these​ ​steps: 1. Create​ ​an​ ​account​ ​on​ ​the​ ​EYP​ ​Members’​ ​Platform​ ​(​members.eyp.org​); 2. Log​ ​in​ ​to​ ​the​ ​EYP​ ​Members’​ ​Platform​ ​(in​ ​case​ ​of​ ​encountering​ ​problems​ ​contact​ ​support@eyp.org​); 3. Make​ ​sure​ ​your​ ​personal​ ​profile​ ​details​ ​are​ ​updated​ ​(full​ ​name,​ ​contact​ ​information​ ​etc.); 4. Apply for ​Athens 2018 - 37th National Selection Conference of EYP Greece ​on the Event’s Page by filling​ ​the​ ​questions​ ​for​ ​the​ ​position​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Organiser.

The​ ​deadline​ ​for​ ​submitting​ ​an​ ​application​ ​is​ ​Sunday,​ ​22​ ​October​ ​2017,​ ​23:59​ ​EEST. All applicants will be informed individually about the selection outcome right after the selection process is complete.

The Selection Panel will consist of the Head-Organisers of the session, namely Ms. Eleanna Siozou & Mr. Vasilis Tsenes,​ ​and​ ​a​ ​designated​ ​member​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Executive​ ​Board​ ​of​ ​EYP​ ​Greece.
