Japanology is a platform to introduce some Japanese cultures through photographies, arts and articles. The editor (It’s ME Natsumi ) of this zine is from Japan and living in Kyoto for a long time. But She has also lived in another country for few years. It was very exciting experience for her to feel some different cultures. But when she came back to japan, she felt something humorously uncomfortable about my culture. she found that some Japanese cultures are unique compared to other countries. Some Japanese people don’t realize the facts and somehow they feel uncomfortable about their cultures like her too. Through this zine, she wants them to realize it is our culture and its okay to feel uncomfortable! She hopes that people who are not from Japan also can get some idea about Japan and enjoy this zine.
