Education is one of the ideals of the Indonesian nation as stated in the UUD 1945 preamble. The implementation of improving the quality of education, apart

Sekolah Alam in Surakarta City is one of the answers to meet these needs and is an option for extracurricular education to further strengthen students' research in preparing for the future. The Bioclimatic Architectural approach was chosen to assist in the design that is directly related to the nature around the site.

Bioclimatic Architecture in Post Pandemic High Rise Residence: Case of Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat and Rusunawa Pasar Rumput
ABSTRACT Population density in Indonesia, especially Jakarta triggers
the growth of high-rise residential buildings to maximize land value capture. Balanced Development is buzzed to compensate the needs and purchasing power of the community towards affordable housing options. Rusunawa is one of the derivatives of balanced house policy, namely from KotaKU policy. Rusunawa Jatinegara Barat and Rusunawa Pasar Rumput are rusunawa that are built to meet the needs of housing for the lower middle class who carry the concept of high-rise fabrication buildings with the expectations of nature. This paper aims to know the application of the principles of bioclimatic architecture in both cases and combine the variables of the COVID-19 pandemic as a novelty in knowing the level of thermal comfort and crowding point in buildings as a mitigation of COVID- 19 in the future. The study used Honeybee and Butterfly simulations to determine the level of indoors in the selected case and focused on residents to meet and socialize.
