You may have already had your home designed by others and simply need the technical log drawings from us. Or, you may want us to help you design your en re home from scratch or modify one of our many beau ful plans. Whatever the case, custom design services are in‐ cluded. And we encourage you to visit our Design Center in Athens, Tennessee. We have much to inspire you and will provide direct access to our design staff to work on your dream home.

High Quality Timber: The wood used to produce your log walls and mber systems should be of the high‐ est quality. Our primary specie is Eastern White Pine for log walls, and Douglas Fir for structural mber systems. All logs and mbers are graded for the highest stand‐ ards of quality. Logs are cut to Log Wall 40 Standards, and mbers are #1 & Be er grade (the highest available).
Forester on Staff: To help insure that you get the best available mber, we have our own graduate forester on staff to help make the best decisions regarding mber procurement and quality. We select the best wood from the best sawmills to pro‐ duce your log and mber system.
Sustainable Resource: We also believe strongly in the wise use of our natural resources. Timber is a renewa‐ ble resource, and we only u lize mills who grow more mber than they use. This in‐ sures that the na on’s mber resource will be available for future genera ons. We have always promoted sustainable forestry prac ces.

Precision Manufacturing: Once your design is complete, your log home will be cra ed with the utmost care and preci‐ sion. We manufacture each home to order and always make one home at a me. Every part is numbered and tagged to cor‐ respond to your CAD designs and blueprints.
Hundegger K2: For pre‐cut mber systems in your log home, we use advanced CNC machinery known as a Hundegger machine. Developed in Germany, the Hundegger is driven by the CAD drawings cre‐ ated during the design phase, and each part of the mber sys‐ tem is cut precisely as it was drawn in the CAD so ware. We u lize a network of Hundegger machines around the country for logis cal purposes and mely delivery.
Hand Shop: Once the log and mber parts are cut, the parts are examined for accuracy, precision and over‐ all quality. The parts are la‐ beled, sanded and prepared for shipping. Parts that fit together are packaged together to make it simpler to locate mber on the jobsite. Bun‐ dles are paper wrapped and care‐ fully banded for shipping to your jobsite. All acces‐ sories such as pegs and screws are assembled with the logs and‐ mbers for ship‐ ment. Natural Element Homes
